He sat on the couch in the warehouse all by himself, glancing over to see you laughing with Jett.

How did he get so lucky finding someone like you?

He's fantasized about this for years. Being with someone so special. You're everything he could ever want and more. You bring out the best in him yet make him a better person. And it was also the other way around.

"I just want you to know that you can be comfortable around me and that I want to help build trust within each other. I want the best for you, and if there's any way I can make the situation of higher quality, I will put all my energy into it because I care about you." He told you once.

He loves how he can be with you and not feel like he's doubting himself or confused all the time. He loves how he can express himself to you without the lingering thought in the back of his mind saying, "this is just a person you chose."

He won't admit it, but he still gets butterflies every time you're around.

What did you do to him?

Maybe it wasn't even for real. Was he dreaming? Making up scenarios in his head that became real? Because there's no way his luck was this good to land someone like you.

You look around for him, wondering where he went when you notice that familiar sight of brown/blonde hair on the couch. Walking over and catching sight of him, he appears startled.

"Damn, what are you thinking about?" You say and sit next to him, referring to the blank expression he had while staring at whatever was in front of him.

Vinnie ran a hand through his hair. "Just thinking."

He put his arm around your shoulder, you leaned your head on his and there is was. That warmth radiating from you that he didn't realize he was missing. You pulled out your phone, unaware of the fact that his heart felt like it was going to burst.

Is this real?

It had to be.
