72. Reading fanfiction

Plot: reading an old fanfic you made about Vinnie on Thomas' vlog

"Good morning everyone and welcome back to the vlog." Thomas smiles into the camera. He's sitting down at the dining room table with you and Vinnie next to him.

"I got Vinnie and Y/N here to do something so fun. Y/N, you wanna explain first?"

Your face was red and you sighed.

"Okay so basically, a year before Vin and I started dating, I...wrote a Wattpad story about him. And before y'all judge me, I was just doing it for fun. I haven't written anything since then, but somebody found it and it spread like wildfire. So here we are."

Vinnie just sat in silence trying not to laugh.

"I also haven't read this since I posted it." You said and started to pull up the story.

Jett heard what was going on and wanted to be a part of it too.

"I hope this video doesn't get age restricted." Thomas told you. "Or the young people could just click off it it gets too sexual."

"Why?" Jett asked. "They have to stay and learn."

"Oh god." Vinnie mumbled.

You laughed. "It's not! Well at least I don't think it is."

So it was you, Vinnie, and Jett in front of the laptop with Thomas filming.

"Wait a minute, how many reads?!" Vinnie exclaimed.

It had 29k reads the last time you saw, and that was so long ago, but now after being found by his fans, it had over 2 million and counting. You were probably going to delete this after filming.

"Okay this one is called Nervous. Yeah, th-that's the title. Jett will read one line and Vinnie will read another." You explained.

Jett runs his hands together to show that he's ready. "Alright. Yes no pov..."

"Y/N stands for 'your name'. Like the person reading would put their name into the story." You said.

"What the fuck?" Vinnie questioned.

"Just shut up and let's do this."

Jett starts to read:
"I'm nervous. He's nervous. It shows him how human I are and he likes the fact that I get nervous around him when he does something simple like hold my hand."

God, you hated that Vinnie was actually seeing this.

Then Vinnie:
"He likes it when my heart races, loves making me blush and making me smile at the ground."

Jett:
"Vinnie lifts my chin up with his fingers and his lips move against mine."

"Wait," Jett stops in the middle of reading. "Can we re-enact it?"

"No!" Vinnie exclaims.

Jett continues.
"Vinnie says, 'I know the feeling Jett. You make me feel the same way'."

"Wait what?" You asked.

"I thought we were putting our names in the story."

"Absolutely not." You told him. He was following directions but still.

Vinnie:
"He hates it when he gets nervous around me but I love it."

Jett:
"He bites his lip and tries to calm himself."

Vinnie actually starts to do it while looking at the camera.

"I thought we weren't re-enacting it." Jett said.

"Exactly. We are not re-enacting anything."

"This is supposed to take one minute. Y'all are making it like six." You interrupted with your arms folded. You just wanted this to be over and of course with them, it would take longer.

Vinnie reads the last of it:
"I laughed at his cuteness and grabbed his hand to reassure him that he can be himself around me."

Jett tried to grab Vinnie's hand but he pulled it away quickly.

"Stop. I knew you were gonna do that."

"Okay guys, we're gonna stop it there." You looked at the camera.

"You forgot the part where we make out." Vinnie said.

"Guys, no, he's lying. That's the end."

"Yeah I'm kidding. It was actually kinda cute."

"I wholeheartedly agree." Jett said.

"Wow that's makes me feel so much better." You told them sarcastically. "Anyways, thanks for watching."
