In the comfort of his bedroom, you two enjoyed each other's company. You laid on his bed, cuddling Hera while he sat on his chair by his desk.

You were telling him about things that happened in your day. Nothing special but he always wanted to know and you didn't mind telling him.

But he wasn't really listening to you. Sure, he could hear you talking but his attention was somewhere else.

You were glancing down at Hera or at your nails while you talked but he kept his eyes on you.

As he looked at you, memories flooded his mind.

When you first met, you gave each other butterflies.

Vinnie loves the times when y'all would laugh until your stomachs hurt.

Going on late night car rides were some of the best.

He loved how well your families got along.

He loved how well you got along with his friends and him with yours.

You knew that you could always be yourself around him.

You laugh at his jokes that are sometimes dumb as shit but laugh anyway because you can't help it. You just love him.

One time, there was an event that y'all were going to and his jaw dropped at how good you looked.

When he's having trouble with his mental health, he knows he can come to you about anything. Even if it's not right away.

There's a difference between a need and a want. And he knew that in this moment.

"Vin, you're not listening." You said when you caught him staring. You stared right back at him until you blushed and looked away, heart racing with every second. "I'm almost done."

Vinnie knew how you felt about people staring at you.

"It's creepy," you once told him.

But it wasn't the same with him. You loved how you had his attention. Made you feel like the only girl in the world.

Vinnie always told himself that the girl he wanted wasn't real. Until he met you.

And it wasn't just Vinnie who realized he was in love. So did you.

There was a whole list that you could make about why you loved him. Big and small things.

And he was mesmerizing.

From the way his curls fell on his head. His soft eyes. Tattoos that you loved tracing. Warm embraces. And you can see that little smirk he gives you every time you talk to him. Like he loves listening to your voice.

Maybe you two didn't need to say anything about it right now. You could feel it.
