46. right person, wrong timing

Plot: You and Vinnie reconnect after months apart

When Vinnie had come to LA, he came with the intention of just making content and meeting new people in the process. He didn't come to try to date anyone soon, but that changed when he met you in September 2020.

You two got along great. You liked him and he liked you. You two spent all most everyday together. His friends could see that he was completely whipped and even the fans would joke around and ask him who his crush is on his live streams.

One day, he had made a tik tok with you, it was something cute but and all of a sudden, it was World War III in both of y'all's comment sections.

You didn't understand why people were being so mean.

Jealousy? Most likely.

But that was just the one thing that happened out of many.

At the same time, you had been getting opportunities to do more things and your schedule was filling up fast. You even moved into a new apartment and didn't see Vinnie as much. He also had things going on and it seemed like you two couldn't find any time to spend together.

Then there were also hate comments. It wasn't that you were particularly bothered by most of them, but it was just one thing on top of another and you didn't think you could handle it. Things weren't working out on your favor.

So you came to Vinnie one day, sat him down and told him how you felt.

You didn't think that this was gonna work out and he said he completely understood. So therefore it was mutual. At least you thought on your end.

In his heart, he didn't want this so he felt as if you were breaking up with him.

Days turned into weeks and...you just didn't speak to each other anymore.

In the months that followed, you'd seen Vinnie here and there on social media. You were happy to see that he was doing well. But you'd be lying if you say you hadn't been thinking about him literally all this time.

And with him, he was thinking about you too.

Sometimes he didn't even realize he missed you.

He just felt a void in his heart and tried to fill it with different things, all temporary satisfaction though.

But something seemed to shift in the universe.

You often got dreams with Vinnie in them. He often saw you on his timeline on tik tok.

Vinnie's friends would sometimes mention your name, and he didn't even know that you guys knew each other.

You would sometimes see someone who resembled him in public.

Everything happens for a reason, but it was hard to find the reason for these random reoccurrences.

As if the universe was putting you in each other's minds. Making you think about one another.

But why now after all this time?

One day, Vinnie had woken up late and one of his friends walked past him and said, "Dude your eyes look dead, you need the touch of a woman for once."

He couldn't get that sentence out of his head and began contemplating it in a Starbucks parking lot.

He felt his friend was right. And he couldn't stop thinking about you.

He missed you so much.

He resorted to smoking to get his mind off things but that didn't work.
