Plot: Vinnie has a strong emotional attachment to you but he doesn't quite realize it. Only problem is, he has a girlfriend

Vinnie ended up dating this girl named Lauren officially almost eight months ago. You and her got along fine but weren't that close considering that you didn't see each other too often.

Sure, Vinnie had a girlfriend. But that didn't mean that you two stopped being friends. You were still just as close. Maybe even a little closer. But that's only because of time.

One night while hanging out in Vinnie's room, you sat next to him on the edge of the bed. You were showing him some funny video on your phone, sitting thisclose to each other, laughing and making jokes about it.

Jett came out of the bathroom to see the interaction on front of him.

He thought, hmm, but then decided to go on about his business.

What Vinnie didn't know, was that he had feelings for you. And it's been brewing for a while but he never caught onto it. Lauren, on the other hand, definitely saw it. Apparently it was obvious.

"She is always your first priority." Lauren told him one day. "You drop everything when it comes to her."

"That's not true." Vinnie protested, but more like he was trying to convince himself rather than her. "We're just friends."

She heard him but laughed sarcastically.

"She's the first person you call when you have good news, she's the one you confide in when something's wrong, not me. You don't hesitate when she needs you for anything, and you will always defend her no matter what the situation."

Vinnie really didn't know how to respond. He just couldn't see it from her perspective. In his defense, he's known you longer, so she couldn't even be mad. He saw nothing wrong.

Jett started seeing more of you and Vinnie's behavior and decided to call him out on it after Vinnie mentioned the conflict with Lauren.

"Has it ever occurred to you that she's probably right? Has it crossed your mind that things are fought between you and her because you're so close with Y/N?"

"So I'm supposed to drop my friend because I'm in a relationship?

"Of course not. But you need to be honest with yourself because emotional cheating is a thing."

Later in the week, Vinnie was leaving Lauren's apartment after hanging out. She follows him around as he grabs his things, making sure he has everything.

"I wish you didn't have to go." She pouts and he kissed her forehead.

"Sorry babe, but the car won't fix itself." He mumbled into her skin and she chuckled.

"True true. See you soon?"

He nodded and hurried out to get to the warehouse.

Upon arrive at the warehouse, Vinnie gets right to work. Popping the hood of his car and getting his tools laid out.

He was so in tune to what he was doing, that he didn't even notice you come in until you were by his side. Not to mention that Fell In Luv by Playboi Carti was playing over the speakers

He jumped at the sight of you. "Oh my god..." he sighed and then let out a laugh.

"Sorry." You told him. "I thought Jett was in here...but I guess not."
