Plot: he gets a tattoo with your name on it
——————————————————————————-

"Are you sure about this?" Jack asked his friend. Vinnie nods and laughs.

"Yes I'm sure."

"She's gonna be so mad."

"I won't tell her. She probably won't even notice." Vinnie comments as he rolls down his sock to reveal his ankle while sitting on the chair.

"Well, you're gonna be getting her name on you. Permanently. Unless you pay a lot of money to get it off."

"That's kinda the point of a tattoo. But it's not like she's looking at my ankles anyway." He assured Jack as Arbel began to clean up that area on his skin.

"She's gonna find out."

"Will you just keep quiet? It'll be a secret. Only you, me, and her will know." Vinnie gestured to Arbel.

****
"It's perfect." He comments ten minutes later. It was small so it didn't take her long.

"Yeah it's nice." Jack looked down on it.

Vinnie grinned, happy that he did something for you even if you didn't know about it.

"Hey, how did the day go?" You asked when he got home. You were doing online shopping and eating ice cream.

"Good." Vinnie came out an arm around you and kissed your cheek. "I missed you."

You smiled. "You were only gone a few hours."

"I missed you the second I stepped out the door."

You didn't notice the tattoo for another two weeks. But one day you were sitting beside him on the couch. You had leaned down to tie your shoes. Vinnie was in basketball shorts and his feet were bare. He usually had on socks as he walked around the house.

You just so happen to glance over and noticed the new ink on his skin.

"What the hell is that?" You exclaim and sit up.

"What the hell is what?" He asks. He was lost in his phone and was lowkey zoned out anyway.

"On your fucking ankle."

He furrows his brows before the realization hits him and his cheeks heat up.

"A tattoo." He smiled, hoping that maybe you wouldn't get too mad.

"You got a tattoo of my name? When?"

"Two weeks ago when I went out with Jack." He looks shameful now and pushed the hair out of his face.

"You obviously knew I'd be upset or else you wouldn't have hid it for two weeks."

"I wasn't hiding it."

"Well you didn't tell me."

"I'm sorry, alright?" He sighed. "I just wanted to get something that showed my love for you. It's not that big of a deal."

You stand up. "It is to me. I don't like this. It's like a taboo on a relationship. Like jinxing it and then it fails."

"Don't be like that. Nothing is gonna happen. I swear, you're stuck with me forever."

"Yeah and you're stuck with my name on you forever."

He just smiled.

"Don't smile when I'm mad at you."

"Tattoos are how I express myself. And I wanted to express my love for you."

"So...but me flowers or something. I don't know."

"I have done that." He laughed. "But I wanted something deeper. Something for me, for us. I'm sorry that your mad but I love it like I love you."

"I can't believe your such an idiot." You shook your head.

You may not agree with the fact that he got his name tattooed on you, but there was nothing you could do about it. And you had to admit, it was a sweet gesture. Crazy...but sweet.
