Plot: Renata keeps trying to get Vinnie's attention and it pisses you off

*Note: I don't like Renata at all❗️I'm using her as the antagonist

"I can't believe her!" I yelled and slammed the door behind me and Vinnie has to put his hand out so that it didn't hit him.

My hands shook in anger and I felt the urge to slap someone hard. Preferably Renata. So that the stupid smile she gave me would fall right off her face.

I should have known something was gonna happen. She pulled up to this function uninvited. She's always trying to get Vinnie's attention although he's made it clear that he has a girlfriend and he don't want her.

I kicked off my shoes, stomping to the living room to get to Vinnie's room. He let the door shut lightly. His gaze never leaving me.

I don't think I've been this mad around him. I'm sure he's relieved that my anger isn't directed towards him.

"I mean, she knew I was there." I told Vinnie but didn't face him. "I was by your side the whole time. She even said hi to me an hour earlier."

"Babe please calm down." He said.

"She did this on purpose Vinnie." I accused. "I told you she had no respect for our relationship. She clearly wants to provoke me."

His lips were in a thin line and he stayed silent. He knew I'd jump to this throat is he said anything that might seem like he's defending her.

I wanted to see a sign from him that showed that he cared. He took of the cowboy hat from the party and his soft curls fell over his forehead.

"It's okay." He said softly.

"No it's not! She kissed you on the cheek. I don't fucking care if she said it was a joke."

She knew she was wrong because she waited until I went the the bathroom to do it. But it just so happened that I was coming back when she did it.

I stared at him in disbelief. "Are you seriously okay with this?"

He sat down on the bed next to me. "Of course not." He scoffed.

"Sure sounds like you are."

I stared at him and he visibly shrunk back, now realizing how upset I was.

I was pissed because shit like this has happened before. Tonight was just the cherry on top.

"Is something going on between the two of you?" I ask.

"Huh?" His eyes widened. Now it was his turn to be in disbelief. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"Remember on Harry's podcast you were like 'my girlfriend...' and he was like 'oh Renata?'. And then talking about her being in your bed? Both as jokes but I mean, did everybody collectively forget that you had a girlfriend that isn't her?"

I had this bottled up for a couple weeks. I shouldn't be accusing him of anything but I'm so pissed.

"I never did anything with her. I don't even hang out with her. The thoughts going through your mind right now aren't true and you know it."

"Whatever Vinnie."

My knees brushed his as I got up and went to his bathroom to put my hair up. I'm really not mad at him, more so at the situation.

Without saying anything, he came in and wrapped both arms around my waist from behind.

"You know I don't want her." He whispered in my ear.

"I know." I admitted. I looked at us in the mirror and a small smile came upon my face.

Renata was so oblivious. She was definitely the problem. I mean, why else would someone live in the same house as you but not wanna talk or hang out with you?

It's like Vinnie sensed a change in my mood, so he turned me around and kissed me. "I love you."

"I love you too."

I kissed him back and his arms pulled me into him.

"She doesn't matter. You don't ever need to worry."
