Plot: attending the Ralph Lauren fragrance event

You admired Vinnie as you two stepped into the Sunset Tower Hotel. He wore an all black suit with a black turtleneck and his silver necklaces that were a must have. On the other hand, you had on a black dress that was custom made. Black was the main color for tonight.

After being escorted to the room, the doors opened to reveal the party. A stage on one side of the room, lots of seats in the middle, a bar off to the side, and a backdrop for photos.

"Y/N! Vinnie!"

You turned to where your names were being called and saw Wisdom and Tati coming up excitedly.

"Oh my god hi!" You told them and everyone greeted each other.

"Y/N, looking beautiful and gorgeous as ever." Wisdom compliments you.

"Thank you." You smiled.

Vinnie put an arm around your waist. "Watch it bro."

You knew Vinnie was just joking. Wisdom wouldn't flirt with you like that. But it was nice to hear a compliment about your appearance coming from him, being such a well dressed guy.

Wisdom then took out his phone so he could get a selfie. He captioned the picture 'look who I just met" and posted it to his Instagram story.

A woman came over to you and Vinnie and ushered you to the place where the professional photos were being taken.

He had his arm around you while you two posed. The flashes from the cameras were a bit blinding so it took a second to get used to. You tried your best to not look awkward and Vinnie squeezed your waist in reassurance. You smiled at his gesture because you knew he was just as nervous.

Afterwards, y'all went with Tati and Wisdom to sit down and surprisingly came across Kio and Amanda. It was nice to catch up with him and get to know her.

"Hey I'm gonna go get a drink." You told Vinnie while he was talking to Kio.

"Alright I'll be right here."

Walking over to the bar, you got yourself a drink. Didn't know what it was but it should be okay.

"Nice party right?"

You turned to the voice with a French accent.

"Yeah, very classy." You told him. You recognized the guy as Sharl, someone you have seen on social media here and there.

"You look great." He smiled and complimented you.

Y'all stood and made small talk while he got a drink also. Out of your peripheral vision, you see Vinnie look to where you are but then do a double take.

He hesitated for a second before excusing himself from whatever conversation he was having.

"Yo what's going on?" He questioned as he came up behind you, put his arm protectively around your waist and looked Sharl dead in the eyes.

But Sharl didn't seem fazed.

"Oh hey, we were just talking."

"This is-" you started to say but Vinnie cut you off.

"Vinnie. Y/N's boyfriend."

"Nice to meet you man." And they shook hands. Firmly.

Vinnie had a slight attitude and you knew exactly why. But he had no reason to be.

"I was on my way back over there." You told him.

"Well we're waiting on you."

When he walked off, you turned back to Sharl.

"Um-"

"Should I tell him that I have a girlfriend?"

You laughed. "Sorry if he came off weird."

"Nah it's cool. I'd react the same way. It was cool seeing you though."

After saying goodbyes, you met back up with Vinnie and the others. You couldn't seem to walk ten feet without seeing some celebrity.

This whole event was exclusive with cocktails and entertainment to promote Ralph Lauren's new men's fragrance that is designed to inspire people to come together.

And it was doing just that. It felt good so be with Vinnie, see friends and simply have a good time. You took sight of Vinnie and it warmed your heart. He likes to stay in and not come to these types of things, but he looked like he was actually having a good time and not faking it.

He smiled widely at you at something but you weren't even paying attention to what was being said because he made you smile also.
