Episode 81: Revelations

After hearing Lisa's answer, Rosé just wanted to crash her lips against her again but she didn't. She had to control her emotions because it wasn't exactly what she wanted, but her answer gave her hope.

Something she was loosing lately.

After that, Lisa tooked her hand in hers and started walking back to the university. Not really intending to go back, but at least get a little closer so their driver can pick them up.

Lisa texted him and send their location. After five minutes, he was picking and driving them home.

The car ride was silent. Rosé was resting her head in Lisa's shoulders while the latter caressed her hair. It only made the korean girl fight harder against the heavy slumber that was taking her away.

Luckily, she managed to stay up till they got home. They thanked the driver and got inside the house. All of that while still holdings hands. As if they didn't wanna let go.

"Go change before going to sleep... Don't sleep in that dress Chae." Lisa said once they reached the front of their rooms.

Rosé hummed and smiled at her words. Lisa knew that she was capable of sleeping in her dress because she was very tired.

"Okay." She mumbled to Lisa and slowly started to get inside her room. Their hands parting slowly as the space was already too much between them.

Lisa gave her a smile before going to her own room.

Once Lisa was inside, she picked the first clothes she could reach and headed to the shower to finally clean herself from this day.

It was a quick one because it was late. Two in the morning to be exact and if she keep slowing her steps she won't sleep at all tonight.

When she got out of the bathroom, she went to the drawer in the far corner. She didn't have much of a choice than to make herself sleep with the use of some medication. She couldn't afford to dream about him tonight and she needed her beauty sleep.

She bended down and opened it. Looking for the right one among the drugstore she had there. She didn't only had the ones she mentioned to Rosé, she had many others that were prescribed to her, but she didn't want to take them.

Tonight, she needed one and stronger than the two she usually takes. So she tooked the controlled substance and opened it. She only picked one pill because the medication was stronger. She didn't want to have the seconds effects for too long.

Then, she got up to get a glass of water, but when she turned around Rosé was there. Looking at the drawer and at the hand that had the pill.

"You didn't mention you had the whole pharmacy in here." Rosé said but with a worried tone.

Lisa couldn't fake she was okay now. She already faked a lot in their way back. Which she did hide from Rosé but only because she didn't want to worry her.

"I've been prescribed a lot of things. The ones I mentioned before are my first choices but today I need something else." Lisa explained her best.

Rosé nodded but her eyes were furrowing and Lisa knew why. She was worried again.

"I'm fine. Totally fine. I just need to secure my sleep." Lisa added to prevent her from worrying more than she should.

But Rosé wasn't that naive.

"That's not a melatonin, Lisa. So how does that one helps you?" Rosé asked while pointing briefly to the pill in her hand.

"To relive panic attacks, this one works out for me better because is stronger." Lisa explained and Rosé hummed in response.
