Skylee P.O.V

"But why?" Helen asked as we made our way towards the directed location. Students looked at us like we had gone crazy but I cared less at that moment. My heart was beating so hard I ran behind Clara. Different bad scenarios were coming into my mind and almost all of them squeezed my heart.

As soon we reached the other side of the forest, some students were gathered in a circle at some distance. My feet took pace as I tramped towards the crowd. My peripheral vision caught the sight of Mr. Ryan and other staff members as they rushed towards the direction. Zack, Owen, and Rosalyn also made an appearance at the same time.

My heartbeat increased. No one was there. Oh, God!

I reached there and pushed past students to get in the circle. I heard Mr. Ryan shouted at them to stop. My steps halted as I looked at the scene in front of me.

Eric had Burak pinned to the ground as he again landed a punch on his face. My eyes widened as I rushed towards them.

"What are you doing? Eric! Oh, God! Get off him!" I yelled as I reached to grab his hand but he jerked me back and again went to punch him. But before he could land it, Mr. Ryan stopped him with the help of Zack and Owen, and a few other boys. They put him off of Burak. He kept on struggling but they held him tightly.

I immediately went towards Burak and crouched down beside him. Looking at his face, tears prickled at the back of my eyes. No matter how much I love Eric, I couldn't stand the sight of my brother like this. He had a blue bruise appearing near his left eye, his nose was crooked with a thin line of blood oozing out of it. With busted lips, his jaw had a huge bruise that was turning black-blue.

"Oh, God... Are you okay?" I whispered as I clasped his hand.

He stirred before he coughed and spitted blood out of his mouth. He breathed out heavily as he spoke in a low voice, "I'm fine. I'm fine..."

I couldn't help but shot a glare at Eric who was looking back at me with the same aggression in his piercing grey eyes. I didn't feel guilty or bad under his gaze. Instead, I glare hard at him, letting him know I didn't appreciate his act. He had no right to beat my brother even if he didn't know he was my brother.

As Mr. Ryan yelled at all of the students to get back to their work, he stopped both STG High teams. I knew we were in deep shit. Asli as Jenny made her way towards us, a huge frown was prominent on her face as she asked the other staff member to leave except the responsible team's heads.

"Who initiated it, and why?" She asked as she looked between all of us.

I was still crouched down beside Burak who had managed to sit down and now a staff nurse was applying antiseptic over his jaw. He winced and I squeezed his hand to comfort him. On the contrary, Eric had jerked off everyone and now he was glaring at me. Even Zack, Owen, and Rosalyn were looking at me with accusation and disappointment. Helen had sympathy in her eyes.

My eyes moved towards Clara who was standing aside from everyone. Her eyes were glistening with tears and her jaw was set tight, preventing the fall of tears. Her team was standing beside her at some distance.

"I asked who initiated it, and why?" Asli yelled this time, making us all flinched. "You guys practically belong to the same school title. So, can you see how much glory are you bringing to your school by fighting with each other? What impression are you giving by behaving like animals?"

Mr. Ryan shot a dagger at us as the other man shot the same look at Burak and his team.

"I initiated it." After a moment of silence, Eric spoke.
