Eric P.O.V

Why was it so hard to persuade your own sister especially when she was so mad at you?

I frowned and looked at my dear sister who was so busy watching a movie on Netflix. I swear I would think several times before making her mad at me, but then again, I still didn't know the appropriate reason behind her anger.

"Won't you eat your favorite chocolate cupcakes?" I asked and she again ignored me.

"Come on, dear sister. How long are you planning not to talk to me? Look I even made cupcakes for you." I showed her my puppy dog eyes which always flattered girls but not even worked a bit on my sister. She again remained silent and ignored me like I became invisible and kept her eyes fixed on the LCD screen.

"Look. I know you want me to apologize to that lizar..." I coughed to clear my throat. "I mean to Skylee, but it isn't my fault that she is on leave. I promise I will apologize to her but talk to me at least." I again winced.

God! Remind me why was I even persuading her?

Because she is your little sister even if just fifteen seconds little and you don't want to taste Nick's wrath of upsetting her. My inner voice replied and I nodded internally. Of course, Nick would roast me alive if he knew I did something to piss off her little sister.

"Wait a minute! Did you by any chance just called my friend a lizard?" She turned towards me, raising her left eyebrow and giving me a deadly glare. I looked at her and grinned.

"No. How dare can I offense your friend?" Your stupid friend. I internally added. "I mean I have probably blabbered the wrong name. Do you know that girl Liza? No, you probably don't know her. It's just Liza's name slipped out of my mouth. Nothing else." I smiled sheepishly.

"Very lame excuse." She rolled her eyes and again turned her attention back to the LCD. But then she suddenly laughed making me raised my brows at her. "You guys have quite funny names for each other. Cactus and Lizard. Nice." She chuckled.

I frowned. To be honest, I didn't want to think about her. Since I hadn't seen her for a whole week pretty helped me on kicking her out of my thoughts and mind.

Liar! My inner voice mocked me.

Shut up! I scolded it.

I internally groaned. That lizard was just a distraction nothing else. A strange reason for my sleepless night. A very bad distraction.

Thank God, she disappeared on her own. And it wasn't like someone was missing her badly. Nor someone was worried for her.

Yeah Yeah! I frowned at my inner voice.

Meanwhile, Rosalyn grabbed the plate of cupcakes from the table and started to eat them. I smirked. Of course, the biggest weak point of my sister.

"Don't flatter yourself. I'm still not talking to you. It's just not a good thing to waste food," she said, without looking at me.

"Of course." I smiled.

I leaned back on the couch and closed my eyes to relax. I knew for a fact, she would start to talk to me. Finally, after spending a full Saturday on her. Why little sisters were like that? Annoyed but very precious. I knew we fight a lot but I loved her so much. I smiled at nothing in particular.

It was early evening and strangely I had no plans for tonight. Because Owen was so onto knowing the person behind that video. I guessed he took it very seriously and personally. He just wanted to prove it was Helen for his ego satisfaction. But I still had a doubt that it could be Lizard but I couldn't declare anything without proof. Also because I had a doubt... It could be Helen, too.
