Skylee P.O.V

I picked it up in my hand, and put it in my bag then slung the bag over my shoulder. I smirked as I envied their poor attempt to scare me. Did she really think she could scare me by using such childish tricks? Then she really didn't know Skylee Kingston yet, who had survived in the jungle of Africa alone for two days just because she got lost from her parents in the attempt of chasing a weird snake. That was an interesting adventure and a shitty one too.

It was another thing from my many hidden talents that I wasn't afraid of animals, including all kinds of reptiles, fish, and amphibians.

I trudged towards the Calculus class where to my surprise, Rosalyn was also there. She was standing with Trio. When she looked at me, she gave me a questioning look. I gave her a brief nod and looked around in the class when I found Helen on the first desk as usual.

I smirked as I slowly stepped towards her. She confusedly looked at me, must be thinking, 'How-the-hell-I-am-here?' because according to her prank, I was supposed to be in the principal office right now or might be still in the locker area, screaming the hell out but, alas!

"When I told you all on my very first day that 'don't-mess-with-me'. I'm not-so-sweet material. Many of you didn't even pay heed to it," I said loudly, grabbing every student's attention and continued carrying baby steps towards her like a Gila monster.

"Then I even said to someone that I won't spare you," I said as I stopped just in front of Helen's desk. She stood up and glared at me.

"Sweetheart, what are you trying to prove?" She said, raising her brows.

"I want to say, my dear Helen..." I paused dramatically and sensed that every eye was zeroed on me. I could sense a particular pair of piercing grey eyes also boring holes in my skull. Ignoring each and every eye, I exhaled loudly and unzipped my bag, revealing a Gila Monster.

Helen's eyes grew so big that I feared they would pop out of their sockets while other girls and even some boys shrieked.

"W... What... Ar... Are you trying to do?" She shuttered badly as she tried to back off. Only to collapsed with the back of her desk and sat down on it.

"I think your lizard is missing you." I chuckled as I threw it on her and Damn!!!

She screamed so loudly that I felt my eardrums cracked. She continued screaming and jumping until that Gila monster lizard fell off from her on the floor. I laughed while that lizard started to move at a very lazy speed towards the other desks.

I took my time and trekked towards the professor's table and sat on it. Perfect! You could watch every move from here. All students including boys and girls were screaming and running, even some were jumping on top of desks. I laughed looking at them as they were looking like Monkeys jumping in colorful outfits like that kids' poems.

It was so funny, looking at them made me remind of a scene when last summer on my Baba farmhouse, I purposely knocked the beehive and all the bees assembled on a mission to make sure to bite each and every person. At that time, everyone was running to save their own life. Then and now, I was doing the same thing; laughing so hard.

I looked at Rosalyn and she was too screaming on top of her lungs, clutching to Cactus's arm and hiding her face in his chest. I grinned. Oops, I didn't intend to scare her but I couldn't do anything since she was already present in the class at the wrong time.

But... Why was she clinging to him instead of her crush? I felt a weird twist in my stomach when I again looked at them but I shrugged it off.

Then my eyes traveled to Cactus's face. He had a huge frown plastered on his face and the way he was glaring at me like he could kill me by his looks. Meanwhile, he was stroking Rosalyn's head to calm her. Well, I didn't intend to scare her but why Cactus was so concern for her? His attitude just increased that unknown feeling so I just looked away from him.
