Skylee P.O.V

I smiled as I watched Eric and Anastasia talked about animated movies and fairy tales. After so much hard work, in the end, Eric finally succeeded in making Anastasia comfortable with him.

I wondered if he really had a charisma around him that could easily flatter all girls. Then again, of course, he had charisma, because any ordinary person could never make Skylee Kingston's heart beat fast, just like he always did without even doing anything.

I still remembered their little encounter a few hours ago.

Pósa àstra ine stón uranó

(How many stars are in the sky?)

Maryaritarénia mú

(My dear pearl one)

Ké lábun éna éna,

(They are shining one by one)

I slowly tiptoed towards her. She was so engrossed in sketching while singing her favorite lullaby. Her little hands were moving slowly on the page as she hummed the lyrics.

ké lábun éna éna

(They are shining one by one)

Tóses forés tà màtia mú

(My eyes, so many times)

Maryaritarénia mú

(My dear pearl one)

Dakrísane yaséna, Dakrísane yaséna

(They are shedding tears for you)

Áide kalé mána ayápame kieména

(Come mother and love me)

I stopped a foot away and smiled at her tiny figure. As if, she sensed someone's presence and stopped singing then she looked up. She narrowed her eyes to look at my face carefully and I smiled at her.

"Sen misin, Skylee?" She gasped, covering her tiny mouth with her little hand.

(Is that you, Skylee?)

"Tek ve sadece." I winked.

(The one and only)

The next moment, she frowned so cutely and looked back at her sketchbook. I laughed at her cute annoyance – still the same. I sat beside her.

"Anastasia," I called her but she kept her eyes angrily on her sketchbook and started to color again, completely ignoring me.

"Oh, my grumpy girl." I pinched her not-so-chubby cheeks and made her sat on my lap. I hugged her little waist from behind and put my chin on her shoulder, peeking at her sketchbook where she had drawn an island with a beautiful ocean, trees, mountains, and a little house.

"Bana kızgın mısın?" I asked her.

(Are you angry with me?)
