Rosalyne-Kruzchka Lohefalter, a once innocent maiden who lived in Mondstadt for as long as she can remember, singing mellifluous songs that fill the mundane streets with color and joy. Everyone adores her tunes as it brings color despite the dull lives they had once before.
Like a human being, she fell in love. With a knight named Rostam.
They share a mutual love together, Rosalyne's beautiful melodies gives Rostam the drive to pursue fending off the evil that is continuously spreading throughout the land of Teyvat. The two were content with each other, they feel like they reached the zenith of their existence because of their devotion to each other.
However, Rosalyne was needed to finish her studies in Sumeru.
Rostam knew he would be sent off to a dangerous mission while his loved one is far away from him so he gave her a timepiece as a memento of him and to keep track of the time left before her time in Sumeru would end. When Rosalyne left, it suddenly felt like the world was enveloped within a thick blanket of cold snow even though it was in the middle of summer.
