Mona fished her coin purse from her pocket. The purse didn't let out the satisfying sound when coins hit among themselves within a small space. It didn't feel heavy either upon successfully pulling it out from the pocket.
A disgruntled sigh escaped the female's lips as she looked around the area, no one in sight was there to see the distressed expression on her face upon realizing that she didn't have any mora with her again. The woman went broke after paying the rent of her home and buying a tool- which she really shouldn't have.
The tool is shaped like a globe, a navy colored globe with gold engravings that shows each major city in Teyvat. When pinched in an outward motion, the tool can show a holographic image of the landmarks in real-time. Mona didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to have this tool so she spent all her mora on the tool.
A deep rumbling sound came from the astrologer's stomach which made her curl up a little due to the swirling pain in her abdomen. She needs food, and fast too. However, she couldn't bring herself to work any manual labor to earn herself just a little more mora.
Mona lets out a sigh as she sucked her pride and wandered through the alleyways of Liyue. She was in the city of contracts for an important business. Despite her scarcity in mora, she kept in mind to be wary of the contracts she might sign unknowingly because of her fragile state. The female forced herself to wander through the dimly lit areas to avoid smelling the delicious aroma of the local foods that might stimulate her hunger once more.
As she continuously walked to her destination, not minding the hunger that was swirling deep within her stomach.. she suddenly felt a presence behind her.
The awfully familiar feeling of danger washed over the astrologer once she felt that same presence from before.
She was with the traveler to investigate a mysterious meteorite that caused everyone to fall asleep and dream of a desolate, snow-capped land which was now known as Dragonspine. It was such a mysterious phenomenon and at that time, the traveler had no idea that the Fatui they befriended was someone of pure evil and malice.
It was a good thing that she was there to plan an escape route for the both of them just in case the situation suddenly escalated.
"We have gotten in rather.. predicament now, don't we?" Scaramouche emerged from the darkness, he has been looking over the poor astrologer for quite some time now and seeing her in this state, makes him want to lure her towards his own trap. "We have.. met before..? Didn't we not?"
The warm light from the lanterns gave an eerie glow on the harbinger's features as he steps out from his place of hiding. He held on the edge of his violet colored ichimegasa and pushed it upwards to let the astrologer see his innocent- yet vile expression on his face. Scaramouche- folds his arms against each other while giving the seemingly fearful astrologer.
