Kaeya sat up from his lying position and looked at Paimon, "Do you mind if I borrow (Y/n) for a moment? There's somewhere I want to show them"
You were quite touched that Kaeya asked Paimon for permission too since your little companion can be a little hostile sometimes. Paimon looked at you and Kaeya for a moment and thought for a while, eventually she gave into the request and nodded. The knight had offered Paimon to sleep in his room in the headquarters in the meantime in which Paimon agrees to, but before Kaeya could take you away.. your companion spat some threats before getting a goodnight's rest.
A chuckle escaped Kaeya's lips, "Didn't know that Paimon had such a colorful vocabulary.."
Embarrassed by your companion's behavior, you stayed silent wishing that she shouldn't have said that. You felt a warm feeling on your hand and it was Kaeya's hands intertwining with yours. It sent a wave of euphoria and eventually, you felt your body got enveloped in a cool breeze.
It was if you're being carried away by this and eventually once the fleeting moment disperses, you were in front of the domain by the foot of Starsnatch Cliff.
"We're here.." Kaeya grinned and gently took your hand, intertwining them with his fingers. "Be careful, I asked some of the knights to clear out the hillichurls here so it's safe to run all about"
You smiled and started running around, feeling the cool breeze hit your face and pulling your hair back. You were by a spot where the fireflies were at and you started to play with them.
Kaeya was silently smiling at watching you, the effect of the fireflies which gives out a somehow luminous light towards your face was magical to him. He brought out his Kamera, taking a quick snap of a picture.
He adores these details about you, sparkling eyes that were filled with curiosity and a smile that yearns for adventure. He placed his Kamera in his pocket and gently called out your name.
"Coming!" You called out and ran towards his direction. Kaeya placed a small pat on your head as you catch your breathing. "Where are you taking me?"
The navy haired knight just grabbed your hand gently and intertwined his fingers with yours. He then gently lead you upwards, towards the top of the cliff.
Usually there was a couple resting on the top ( in which the author likes to attack them with different skills of her heroes ) but tonight they were nowhere to be found. Kaeya must've said something that probably sent them elsewhere.. but then again..
The view up the cliff was amazing. At the side was a view of the sea and the vast dark blue-ish skies, painted with droplets of white that were the stars. The moon was shining above, making the waters of the sea glisten below.
Kaeya sat down on a spot by the edge and he pat the seat next to him, looking at you. "Come sit next to me"
You complied, sitting down gently next to the knight. A weight fell down on your shoulder, looking at it.. it was Kaeya resting his head. He held on your hand and sighed..
"I had asked the previous couple if I could borrow this spot. I know you like sceneries so I took you here" Kaeya smiled and looked down towards your hands, "If only this could last forever. But.. you also like my brother, right?"
He's right though.
If you were with Diluc then everything will feel safe. Everything is handed to you and he would treat you like loyalty. While with Kaeya, there's always thrill and adventure.
"I still need time to think about it" you mumbled, "Anyways.. I think I had enough of sight seeing for one day" a yawn escaped your lips, "I'm quite beat.."
Kaeya let your hand go and chuckled, he stood up and offered you a hand so you could stand up also. "Let's go back to my place. I'll just sleep on the couch. You and Paimon can take my bed"
The breeze from earlier came back again and once it was gone, you were on the Waypoint on the headquarter's roof. Kaeya took his gliding wings and held out his hand, "My lady?"
You were unsure about this but nevertheless you took his hand. He spun you around as he walk behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist firmly. You could even hear his breathing and heartbeat due to the proximity of you two.
"Here we go, hold on tight to me" he directed as he gestured for you to jump down.
It wasn't a long way down but gliding down is a safe way to do so. You yelped as you jumped down. With the wings behind Kaeya's back, you two started to glide down slowly.
Your hands covered your eyes as you were not sure if the wings will give out making you two plummet down. A chuckle was heard and it was Kaeya.
"Don't worry, the material of our wings are strong. We won't fall down easily" he rest assuringly said. "Besides.. we're almost down"
You could feel the ground brushing against the tip on your shoe. And as Kaeya gently placed you down on the ground, he folded his wings and kept them safely away.
"I enjoyed this day with you" you mumbled and looked at Kaeya with a smile, "Thank you.."
The knight in front blinked for a few times before breaking into a huge smile. "No worries. I didn't think that I'd even get to have a time with you today either. So thank you too"
As the two of you walk inside of the headquarters, little did you know that on top of one of the houses, there was a hooded man with a mask hidden.. and seemingly watching the two of you.
He took his hood and mask off, sighing as his crimson ponytail flew behind him.
"I have to act too" he mumbled to himself before disappearing once more.
