Gasps were heard from all over the market as the announcement was broadcasted through the megaphones. Everyone was whispering among themselves on how the archon would do such a thing, throwing Baal in an antagonizing state.
You could understand their sentiment though. Even if she was the electro archon, she had no right to do such a thing. Visions were meant to protect the beholder, they are chosen to fulfill a mission because the archons know that they are righteous to yield a vision.
"(Y/n) I'm done shopping for groceries" Kazuha walked over to your direction while holding a bag filled with vegetables and meat from one of the stalls in the market. "Oi, (Y/n)"
"Ah" Kazuha snapped you out of your trance making your attention snap towards his direction. "Did you say something?"
The male heaved out a sigh and started walking out of the market. You stumbled on the ground since he didn't even say something and just abruptly started leaving.
It was a chilly morning in Inazuma. You accompanied Kazuha in doing the groceries since he would be leaving soon. He would be joining a captain from Liyue on a journey overseas so he had to stock up on some food. Being his only friend on the island, you had to come with him. He likes keeping a small circle of friends since having so much may take up most of his time maintaining the friendship. But of course, friends come and go and that was the case for Kazuha until eventually, you're the only one who was left with him.
"Are you sure you want to leave Inazuma? I mean, this is your home after all" you nudged Kazuha upon catching up with him, making the male sigh and shake his head. "Well.. I know you had a lot of things that had happened in your past but.."
"(Y/n)"
Kazuha came to a halt then looked at you with sincerity, "My decision is final. I'll be joining the Crux for a couple of years. I want to see the world and until then, I hope you wait for my return"
The ronin turned his back once more and started walking.
You looked at him with a longing gaze, your heart fell when you heard he was going to leave the island no matter what happens. But I'm going to miss you.. You thought to yourself before running to catch up with Kazuha.

"Where do I put these?" You grabbed one of the paper bags with vegetables and asked Kazuha who was busy sharpening his sword with a rectangular stone. "Do you want me to slice them and pack them individually in a container?"
The male shook his head, "Just leave it like that"
"Oh"
You stepped back from the bag of groceries and sat silently on the couch. Both you and Kazuha decided to live under a single roof to share the payment of the rent. The rent was rather expensive so you had to take on a couple of side jobs to pay your half of the rent.Kazuha on the other hand was bestowed some of the riches of his late master and sometimes he would pay the rent in full price, letting you keep your hard owned money to yourself.
