"XINGQIU!! LETS GO ON AN ADVENTURE!"

Episodes like these, makes you wonder why Chongyun is like this. Everytime the temperature rises, or he eats something spicy he would be all over the place..

"Is Chongyun acting up again?" Xiangling was on her break and he joined you and Xingqiu by the tables. She sighed in an exasperation while handing you both some snacks to wait. "How long do you think this would go on for? I'm betting 30 minutes"

"Just 30 minutes? I'm going for an hour" Xingqiu looked at his friend, talking to each person passing by the streets. "You and Chongyun share a home right, (Y/n)?"

A sigh escaped your lips as your eyes follow Chongyun wherever he goes.

It was quite hot today and Xingqiu forced youand Chonyun to accompany him to the Wangmin Restaurant. There is a new delicacy on the menu in which the bookworm wanted to treat you two on, but without knowing it has Jueyun Chillies as it's ingredients.. Chongyun ate a lot.

And thus due to the combined temperature outside and how spicy the food is, of course.. Chongyun became the way he is right now.

"Well.. let's get Chongyun to your sanctuary to avoid causing any more havoc" Xingqiu tucked his pocketbook inside his pocket and walked towards the exorcist. "Come now, let's get you home"

"XINGQIU I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOUUU" Chongyun gasped as he gets dragged by his friend by the shoulder. "Be gentle with meeeeeee~"

Xiangling looked at you worriedly, "I'm sorry I forgot to tell you that it had Jueyun Chillies! I didn't know that you and Chongyun are here until I saw the mess.." she apologetically bowed her head down. "I'll drop by to your home and give you both something cool later!"

A smile appeared on your lips, "Thank you Xiangling. Well.. I gotta go to Xingqiu now, he's probably dying to get out of Chongyun's grasp right now!"

Both of you laughed, but it was true that Xingqiu was dying out of embarassment due to his friend.

"Damn I look hot in my clothes!"

Once Xingqiu bailed out, you were left with Chongyun. He started to walk all around the house, taking breaks by looking at the mirror to look at himself in awe.

You were currently sitting by the couch and was quite thirsty, so you stood up and walked towards the kitchen to grab some water to drink. Though you were quite worried that Chongyun might hurt himself in the living room since you have a lot of fragile figurines.

Which now you think it's a bad idea to have them decorated.

"(Y/n)"

You sensed a breath near your ear which made a shiver run down your spine. You closed the door of your refrigerator but when you were about to turn around, a force pushed you making your back hit the refrigerator.

Chongyun was close to you, his lips were only an inch near yours.

Your heart started to beat loudly and faster. You realized that he has beautiful features up close, eyes that has the same color as the sky and pale smooth skin with a hint of red blush on his cheeks.

"Ch-Chongyun.." mumbling, your grip on the glass was tightening as your hand turns into a white color.

His hand was on the door of the refrigerator like a kabedon pose while his other free hand found itself below your chin. Your eyes started to flutter open, awaiting for his lips to meet yours but then..

"Zzz.."

Chongyun fell fast asleep once the both of your lips were about to touch. He fell on top of you which made you surprised at his sudden action. Dazed, you quickly placed your glass on the counter and helped him towards the bed.

Gently you laid him on the soft matress and smiled, kissing his forehead since he will not remember anything that happened during his episodes.

"I AM SO SORRY"

Chongyun apologized to every person he bothered during his episode especially to Xingqiu since he had to put up with him.

"Ahh, same old Chongyun is back" Xiangling chuckled and placed a plate of dessert on top of your table.

Xingqiu was sighing the whole time while Chongyun was apologizing. He kept on pushing the exorcist away but he wouldn't even budge an inch.

But of course, the near kiss experience you two had was kept a secret from him. ;)
