ch 89: I'm a curse

Marco's pov

" You should go back to your brothers."

" But I want to stay with you mom."

" No, you still have many things to do. You should go back to your brother."

Then I heard buzzing into my ears and a very bright light. I opened my eyes hearing Levio talking to another doctor.

" Levio?" I whispered.

He turned to me with red eyes rounded by bags. He rushed to me, taking my hand in his.

" Marco, ohh God! Let me just check your analyses." He said, freaking out with tears

I hate my friends! They are so pathetic!

He opened my eyes then he check the tablet on his right.

" You are fine, all the analyses confirm that but you must be kept under observation for a few days and you can accept visitors." He said, smiling, wiping his tears

" My brother?" I asked weakly

" He is Fine. He is in the waiting room. He refused to go home. He-"

" Levio, please close the curtain and I don't want any visitors. I don't want to see anyone and let the other doctor take care of me. Don't come again." I cut him off firmly

" You started with your orders." He huffed then chuckled

" Levio." The other doctor said, " His comfortability is what we want."

" Fine. I want to tell you that Sierra gave you blood so you are with us thanks to her."

" If she's here, let her and only her."

He nodded and left the room. The other doctor checked me again and confirmed that I'm fine

" Like you didn't get shot ever." He said shocked

" I have a strong body." I smirked

" I can't deny this, or how you just wake up after 5 hours of your surgery, happy to see you awake, I need to check the other patients." I nodded

He got out and Sierra came into the room. " Glad to see you fine." She approached the bed

" Thank you, we are connected with blood now." I chuckled

" You did me a big favor, saving me, letting me see Peter, and giving me a chance to help. I won't hesitate to give you my life, Sir."

" Just Marco, please."

" As you like." She smiled softly, " They love you. Maybe you seem heartless but you gave all the people around you reasons to love you. When the doctor told them that you don't like to see them. They started arguing with him. You should change your mind."

" I will think about it." I shut it quickly

" At least, see your brother." She said

My heart twisted and squeezed inside of me. I want to see him, hug him, and smell his odor but I just can't right now. Not in this state.

" I'll see." I said smiling at her, " How do you get in here?"

" Ohh yeah, that Francis connected the Blackstone about Peter so they sent me to get him with some men. I played on them and I let them go alone to Francis's place. I rushed to tell you but there I heard about all this so I came to check on Peter and you know the rest." She explained

" Thank you again."

" It's my pleasure. Happy to see you awake. I need to go to not let him suspect me. Please, don't prevent your friends and brother from having the opportunity to help you in your hard times." She advised
