ch 165: I won't go down to that place

Luke's pov

The trip went amazing as fuck!

We enjoyed it a lot and it was so refreshing... So many refreshing memories. All of us were on our way back home and Nick was driving while we were all resting for a while.

I still have those assignments, piling up but no losses in terms of the classes.

Pete, like always, had his head leaned over me while Marc and Elda were talking about something that I prefer not to know anyway.

I texted Heaven that I will be home in thirty minutes. My girl missed me and so did I. It was still morning so I can rest and meet her in the afternoon

We reached home. Finally, we got out of the caravan and carried our own luggage, basically Pete and I carried all the luggage. Nick was parking the caravan while Marco was carrying Elda

So yeah! We entered the home and dropped the luggage in the porch area one by one. Few bodyguards helped though then the older three came in and we all went to the living room together.

We were startled by a sudden voice, " Welcome home kids."

My eyes widened at the owner of the voice, Pete and I exchanged looks then we all went to greet him

" Hey grandpa." Pete yelled and hugged him 

" Hello sir." I said with a welcoming smile

" Hello boys, happy to see you." He said to both of us as he hugged Peter then looked at me and patted my shoulder lightly

" What a surprise grandpa!?" Malik said still shocked

" What winds throw you here?" Marco asked

Matilda pinched his arm and walked to him. " Hey, how are you grandpa?"

" I'm fine, lovely daughter." He said as he hugged her

We all sat down then Marc asked him, " How did you come? This is a sudden surprise grandpa." Marc asked a bit more nicely than before

I call it, Elda effect!

" You called me and said your best man is alive, I came to check my spies."

Really? That made me feel a bit weird now. He came to check his spies?

" Yeah yeah, your Taylor." Malik said

" Yeah, I need to ask you some questions Luke after you rest a bit if you don't mind." He said to me

" Sure sir." I replied curtly to him

" Let's go, rest and shower boys." Marc said to us

Shower?! My whole plan was to sleep till afternoon but let's go to my room first. I got up and made my way to my room

" See ya after a nap, grandpa." Peter said nicely

" Your luggage to your rooms." Malik instructed

" Yes Nico." Peter said

" Yes Nick." I said

We took our luggage and went to our rooms. I unpacked my stuff first and placed everything neatly then I threw myself on my bed.

Ohh how much I missed it... I took out my phone and texted Heaven and my friends that I am back

" Luke!" Marc barged into my room.

I got startled a bit then looked at him. " Yeah?"

" Shower then sleep."

" Marc, I really just wanna take a nap right now, can I just sleep?" I said putting up an innocent face
