ch 136: I fucked up big time!

Marco's pov

Lucas! Why couldn't this kid understand such a simple thing? He almost pulled the deadliest stunt ever going against Malik and challenging his decision. He didn't know what he just did. If it was anyone else in that place, he would have been burnt alive.

" I told you it's a bad idea." I said to Malik

" I don't want him to do anything with the gang anymore, why did you talk about the girl, Man? I was shocked." He said firmly

" I just can't believe what you just did Marco." Matilda came into the living room

" Oh, good, talk some sense into him." Malik said going upstairs

She sat besides me glaring at me

" You know it's not the right thing."

" I know but it will give the right results." I grinned

She looked at me in disbelief

" Don't look at me like that."

" You are going to kill that girl?" She asked

" Am I that cruel? Of course no, I won't hurt my brother, He is into her, I won't cause him pain like that. I was just scaring him."

" Obviously he got scared. Where did he go?"

" Ohh shit, I forgot to call the men to watch him."

" Let's hope he will come back home after what you both said to him."

" I'll wake, Peter."

I can't stand her anymore

I went to Peter and woke him up. He was grumpy too. I warned him to not show any tantrums at the table and keep quiet

He did as he was told and later asked about Luke. I told him that Luke had already left. He was about to say something but I guess he already sensed the mood and did the best thing in that situation... Stayed shut.

Malik's mood was bad... Literally bad... Even at work. He just skinned the trainees badly. Poor boys were terrified!

We went home early to get some things done for an upcoming meeting and I was met by a surprise... That girl heaven was here

She was worried!

How did she end up here?! I saw Fred coming beside her. I looked up at him for an explanation.

" She was at the warehouse asking for Luke as he didn't show up to the college."

" And you brought her home?" I said sharply

Suddenly the girl spoke up, " Uhm, good evening.. Mr?"

" It's Marco Carnell princess." I smiled at her

" Oh yes, good evening Mr. Carnell, I was wondering if Luke was fine. He didn't come to college today and isn't picking up my calls either. It says that his phone is switched off... Uhm... I wanted to make sure he is fine and," she said, taking out a folder, " Th-these are the notes of today's classes."

I took the folder and smiled at her such a lovely and caring girl

" Don't worry princess. I will make sure he is fine and calls you too. Right now, your parents must be worried. You should get home... Fred."

" Yes sir, I will drop her safely"

" Uh, thank you sir but I am fine by myself."

I am amazed by the fact how respectful she is!

" No, I insist, Fred will drop you "

" Okay, good day, Mr.Carnell. Thank you."

" No worries." I smiled at her and she left
