Peter's pov

It's Saturday so there is no school for today. I went to Cole's room. " Cole?" I called him

He wasn't in his room. Ohh where's he? He went to his work without talking to me. Ahh, I hate when he does this. I turned to walk out but I stomped into him and the boxes in his hand fell to the ground

" Ahh, Pete." Cole whispered

When he calls me Pete that means he isn't angry or bothered.

" I'm very sorry." I said quickly

I crouched down to collect the boxes and the files. He was about to pick them too

" No, no, you are still hurt." I stopped him, glaring

" I'm not." He protested, but stood up anyway

" Why didn't you call anyone to help you?"

" Because I can pick them on my own." He said annoyed

" No, you can't, you just came back from death." I said firmly walking into his room, " Where do you want me to put them?"

" On the table and sit, I'm coming."

I sat, waiting for him. He came from his bathroom and sat next to me.

" Ahh, so honey, open that box." He said pointing at it

I opened it and found a notebook. " Mom's diary." My eyes got widened, " She talked about you in this, she wrote them to give them to us as a souvenir, I have one too. I remembered them last night."

I got happy, so I can know mom, hear her, and maybe feel her. Ohh I want to read it so much, thanks for him

I looked, smiling at the notebook. " And the others?"

" The others are some files about dad's affair with Tyson, I'm gonna check them." He told me

" Tyson isn't the man that you held him in the warehouse with his daughter?" I asked

" Yeah, he is."

" What was dad doing with him?"

" I don't know, that's why I'm checking those."

" How do you know that?"

" Tyson's girl told me."

" Ohh, and how-"

" Peter, if I share with you the knowledge of something I'm doing, it doesn't mean I will tell you everything or I will let you help me or get involved in this." He cut me off

" Ugh, fine, just don't tire yourself."

" I will try. I need to be in the warehouse, so if you need anything tell me now."

" Can I hang out with Miles and his friends?" I requested

" Yeah."

" And something else, I will start the training with the basketball team, Miles's coach asked me to." I told him

" That's so good, Pete. When will you start?"

" Wednesday, Saturday, and Monday at 4 but I will start the next Monday."

" Good luck, honey." He said, standing up to pick the boxes and files

" Let go, I will bring them to your car." I said, taking them

He glared at me and I smiled. I know he didn't want me to help him but I will. I put them in the car. He bid farewell to me and drove to the warehouse. I went to play with the dogs.
