Peter's pov
I woke up at 10 Am, I found Malik and Matilda sitting in the living room
" Morning, where's Luke and Cole?" I asked
" Morning, they went to the warehouse." Malik replied smiling
" I'll make you your breakfast." Elda said
" No, Elda, don't bother yourself, I'll do it."
" Okay, don't forget your meds."
" Yeah, don't worry." I took my breakfast then sat in the living room
" Bud, you have extra training in the warehouse, Miles will be there too." Malik told me
" Yey, okay."
" Are you out of your mind? Training isn't that exciting." Malik raised his eyebrows confused
" No biggies." I ran to my room to get ready.
Excited! I wanna see Luke after!
Luke's pov
I was woken up again by Marco and Malik looking kind of irritated
" What's up with you two not letting me sleep peacefully?"
" Check your phone." Malik said in a harsh yet slow voice
I did and noticed two things, It was quarter past seven and I had three missed calls, two from Fred and one from Chris
" You so wanted to be in the gang and you knew that there was no holiday unless ordered. You weren't picking up. They called us to inform the royal prince to wake his ass up and be there at a warehouse at 8 am sharp! " Marco said
What's up with these two?
" Fasten up Lucas... You just have 45 mins to be there and you are old enough to know what's good for you, get ready and get lost."
They gave me a flashback of the time when I had known no clue they were my brothers but bosses.
" Yes sir." I rushed to the bathroom and freshen up quickly, got dressed and went downstairs within 10 mins
" Morning Elda, I am not going to have breakfast. I am late."
" Oh Luke but take this, you will be energized enough and eat this apple." she said, giving me a smoothie diet
God I am so late but I finished it in one go and she fed me the apple while I wore my shoes and I went straight to the warehouse. I just wish I could make it on time
With God's grace I reached the spot at sharp 8. I met my friends; Theodore, for us just Theo, Jaden and josh
" Hey, Luke, you are so dead, man and you will make us die with you." Jaden said
" Hey... What the fuck is happening bro? I got no clue, man"
" You know we should be here at 7, man." Josh sighed
" It's not new, Luke." Theo palmed his face
Oh goodness! OH MY FUCKING GOODNESS, I am a whole damn hour late
" Shit... I fucked up big time... Sorry guys."
" Save it for Chris and Fred, because they are fuming."
" Shit man... Let's go before they come here themselves to get me."
" I guess it's a good idea."
I went to the hall immediately and saw Fred and Chris there. I know I have to greet them but I just wish I didn't have to. Let's do it Luke... Remember what they say, 'every second counts'
