Luke's pov
We were done with the training a bit earlier since it was only warm ups and physical tests. We got free around 6 pm. I changed my clothes and got back to my car. I need to go to the warehouse but let's prepare first.
I got back home and met Pete and Marco there.
If I tell Marco that I need to go there, he might not let me considering no juniors are allowed there and there's no point in seeking permission or him asking one of the adults to bring the info because whoever is the spy here in the warehouse would keep a close eye on their movements and might as well have a record of Marco's in house personal men.
No point in getting everyone involved. Marco must be doing all this training or mission drama for distractions for all I know.
I greeted them. " Hey Marco... Hey Pete!" I said as I put the things aside and sat down on the couch
" Hey, they grilled you, huh?" Peter asked amused
" Hi, I'm sure my dinner will make you gain your energy back." Marco smirked
" Yeah sure... Your 'tasty' diet food is all I need to wrap this day up." I said sarcastically as I rolled my eyes
He laughed ruffling my hair, " Go get a shower."
" I absolutely hate showering more than once!" I complained
" Afraid you are going to change this habit then." He sighed
I glared at him childishly. Who showers twice a day!?
" It's just a waste of time and water."
" Marco before every meal gets a shower." Peter said
" Don't exaggerate, Peter. Showering after a workout does help your muscles to recover, and boosts your body's ability to bounce back and be ready for your next workout. That's because showering can get lactic acid, the natural chemical reaction that causes soreness, out of your muscles." Marco explained
This man knows everything!
" We can save that much water. You know there are people dying due to lack of water and these people want to waste it... So bad! Save water, save life."
" I didn't say take a full shower, I said just a quick cold shower for your body refreshment."
" Fine grandma! Stop nagging." I said as I rolled my eyes again and stood up stretching my hands
He frowned at my comment. " Stop arguing Luke. Go take a shower before I'll do it for you, and believe me you won't like it." He said sternly
" You won't like it." Peter mocked his tone, causing Marco to lose his seriousness and laugh.
I laughed and high fived him.
" Come feed the dogs, please." Marco said to Peter nicely
" He won't eat the diet with us?" Pete asked pointing at me
" I don't mean Luke... What? That's so mean, Peter, stop calling your brother names, take this and feed them."
" Okay, I'm sorry."
" It's okay."
" And you go before I grab my belt." He turned to me
" Yes sir."
This bitch! Let's get our revenge here
" Uhm Pete... Don't forget to keep your mouse in your room or shall I do it for you?" I said as Pete glared at me and Marco looked up confused
