When the wind blows,
wherever I go.
Love me still,
as I shake at night.
Behind every naked tree,

Don't kiss me goodbye.
Everything disappears with time,
Hold me,
closer.
Closer.
Please.
With bruises on my heart,
I'm being held back.
Wishing I was stronger,
to resist the attack.
Defend me,
against the deceiving.
Cursed,
I've gone blind,
consumed from what's behind,
my past.
A sickness that keeps coming back.

to you.
What am I?
What have I become?
Clenching the soil at my reach,
the monsters at my feet.
I let them grow.
As I stand above,
and before them all.
As it was I who came first.
