Tony Stark and Pepper Potts had ended up going back home, not completing their mission successfully. Professor Charles Xavier saw no need to include the Mutants of his prized school in a war that was nonexistence. Phil Coulson though, he knew that he could bring proof of this supposed War. When Coulson got back to the Stark/Avenger tower, he had brought Kendra Fennick with him. Deciding she needed to meet Tony Stark and they could all go back to the school for Mutants.

"Agent." Tony muttered as he poured himself a drink at the bar, hearing the elevator door ding open. Pepper had left to attend to some CEO business stuff, against the orders of Tony of course. Tony looked up as he heard more than one set of footsteps. A woman with Coulson caused Tony to raise an eyebrow at him. "I didn't know you had a girlfriend." He remarked smartly. The woman snorted at his comment, shaking her head as she walked. A walking sticking shining in her hand.

"Anthony Stark. What a pleasure it is to meat you. My name is Kendra Fennick." She introduced as she took the drink from Tony's hand without asking. Causing the man to raise his eyebrow even more.

"Oh no, please. Help yourself." He muttered as she took a drink of the whiskey he had poured. "And it's Tony." He added, sounding a bit butthurt that the woman knew his name and was using his full first name.

"Hmm, I rather call you Anthony if you don't mind." She responded simply.

"I do mind." Tony snipped, narrowing his eyes at the woman. His eyes snapped to look over at Phil. "Who is this? Why is she in my tower?"

"Kendra is the leader of the Initiative." Coulson told him.

"And she, has a name. I believe I had introduced myself- are you hard of hearing?" She questioned with furrowed eyebrows before looking towards Coulson. "I thought only Clint was hard of hearing?"

"No, Tony is just selective." Coulson explained, causing her to nod her head. Tony hummed.

"And what makes you so special to be the leader of the initiative?" Tony questioned. "What would make a blind woman able to pull together supposed hero's?" Kendra rolled her eyes as she finished her drink and let Coulson take it from her.

"Hmm What makes you so special? A man with shrapnel in his chest, held in place by a simple magnet. What is it that you call yourself?" Kendra asked as if speaking into the air before her eyes brightened somewhat. "Ah! A Billionaire, Playboy, philanthropist. Is that right?" She questioned, looking towards Tony. Tony narrowed his eyes at her, trying to read her. But her eyes seemed to snap away from him- flicking around as if seeing something he did not. But he tried, snapping his heated brown eyes around the room, trying to spot even a piece of dust.

"You forgot Genius." He muttered when he saw nothing that she could have seen. Coulson stepped forward as Kendra was distracted slightly. Her vision taken up by small things.

"Kendra here is able to see the past and future." Coulson explained as simple as he could, causing Tony to snort.

"Lot of help that is when given to a blind person." He walked towards her, reaching out to take her walking stick. "What good is seeing the future and past if you can't-" Kendra twirled her walking stick, smacking his hand hard enough to bring a bruise to the surface before poking his arch reactor with her stick.

"Seeing the future helps me protect myself, Anthony. But you see, you are not special." She admitted, her eyes calming down at they snapped in his direction. Tony furrowed his brows confused. "You are not the Anthony Stark I need on our team." With that she turned slightly to walk back towards the elevator. Coulson stood confused, looking between the two.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Tony questioned, feeling insulted that his invite to join the team was basically revoked by a blind woman.

"It means, Anthony, that you are not man enough to be on the team. You have not learned true sacrifice yet." Kendra told him as she entered the elevator, turning to face him as her stick held the door open for Coulson. "All you have done is save yourself and maybe even Pepper. But she is for you? No? Find me when you save a city or a town." Kendra knew that Tony would be on the team either way. The only way he could know of true sacrifice is when he did the battle of New York. When he flew the bomb into space and killed all the Chitauri without knowing if he would make it back himself. With a sigh she snapped her eyes towards Coulson. "Send Banner here still, Only they can complete the shell."

"Wait that was your idea?" Tony asked as Kendra let the elevator door close. Not needing to explain herself to the stubborn man any longer.

"Let's get to Professor Xavier, Phil. We need to prove ourselves so much it seems." She sighed out. Coulson nodded as he led her out of the elevator and to the car.

"Shouldn't take much convincing with your help though." He assured. Kendra smiled.

"Of course. Charles probably already knows we're on our way. He can see everything, you know?"
