The rest of the night went smoothly. Kendra didn't even move in her sleep. Steve would never admit how amazing it was to sleep with Kendra in his arms. It was possibly the best sleep he had ever had- even in a tiny bed that even alone would be uncomfortable for him.

The next day, Kendra was getting up with a mission. She had to speak to Steve about him and Bucky. Tony had the right to know about the past. And keeping it from him would only result in a larger regression.

"You slept in." Kendra told Steve as he sat up in the bed. Watching her move around so flawlessly. It was like she could see just fine sometimes. But Steve knew she had probably memorized it, or even when Bucky and him were redoing it, she probably remembers the vision.

"I did." Steve acknowledged with a soft smile. It was far later than he normally woke up. And he was fine with that. More than fine really. He hadn't slept so good in such a long time. With the trauma of going into the ice plus living in a new world- he would be up at six in the morning just to go on a run. It wasn't just for the exercise. Steve glanced over at the clock on her nightstand, that was essentially useless unless she had company. The neon red LED said 9:04am, brightly. Steve sighed as he ran his hand over his face.

"You can go on your run or whatever you need to do." Kendra told him, feeling awkward slightly. He had just slept in her bed. It was something neither of them had ever done and she knew that. The chemistry between them pulled them together, like a set of magnets. But, Kendra still felt odd. Like she was stealing him from Peggy.

"I think I'm good." Steve muttered, his eyes never leaving her as she pulled clothes from her drawers.

"If you wanted to see a show, you should have just said so, Captain." Kendra told him, her head turned over her shoulder slightly with a teasing smile. Steve smirked at her as her silk robe fell off her shoulder slightly, revealing she was wearing a cami underneath. Steve's eyes widen as he realized this was becoming a game of chicken quickly. Was he ready to see anything? Yes. But, would it be a good idea? After the night she had? Probably not. Kendra was in her own mind. Wishing she could see the blush running up Steve's cheeks.

"Kendra-" Steve tried, but he choked on his words slightly as her robe dropped to the ground. Kendra was left in a white silk cami nightgown.

It felt like Steve's mouth turned into a desert

It felt like Steve's mouth turned into a desert. Lips parted and eyes failing to leave her body. Kendra had a teasing smile on her face as she turned to face him. Steve couldn't process his thoughts. Wondering how he didn't notice her night outfit last night when he was soothing her to sleep.

"What's wrong, Captain?" Kendra questioned as she heard him choke and was listening to his breathing. It had seemed like he had forgot how to breath. Steve swallowed hard as he ran his hands over his hair and face, trying to gather his thoughts and focus on anything but how beautiful the woman in front of him was. "Was it something I said?" She asked as she walked towards Steve. "Or is something wrong with my nightgown?" She continued to tease. Steve stood up once his focus settled on Kendra's eyes.

"I- uh- I'm okay. Nothing wro-wrong." He stammered as he moved out of her way. "I'm just goi-" Steve cleared his throat when he bumped into her nightstand before making it to the door. "I'll get us something to eat. You uh- take your time." With that he pushed through the door and closed it behind him. Kendra let out a laugh at how flustered he had seemingly got.

While Kendra got dressed, Steve stood in the kitchen, catching his breath once he remembered how to breath again. If he would have stayed in there, he didn't think he would have been able to stop himself from going too far. The way she looked- He knew she was messing with him. And he let her. But after this- Steve was going to have to up his game. Next time, it will be him teasing her.

Steve moved around, scrambling some eggs and toasting some toast. Keeping it simple since he didn't really know what Kendra liked.
