Kendra woke up to the sound of people whispering. It was an odd kind of whispering, sounding like a completely different language. As her mind woke up, she kept her eyes shut for a bit. Trying to listen to the voices, but her hearing seemed to be out in one of her ears. It was odd. Not something she had been trained for.

How long had she been out? How did Wanda get them out of the darkness? She couldn't remember anything outside of the bright red explosion. The explosion that knocked her into a wall and caused a continuous ringing noise in her left ear. The voices became more shushed as the people started to realize their patient was awake.

"Lady Kendra?" Kendra sat up at the voice being right next to her now. It seemed blurred. How could a voice- a noise- be blurry? Is that even possible?

"Who is that??" Kendra demanded as she jerked her head around. She was blind. But now she was even more blind. The sound being out in one side, left her unbalanced and confused. She couldn't hear the dust fall. The sound of footsteps. Hell even her smell was off. Was she sick too? She hadn't had the chance of being sick with her heightened senses yet- is this what it would be like?

"Lady Kendra, please calm down. My name is Annalise. I'm one of the Nurses here in Asgard-"

"Asgard?? When did I get to Asgard?" Kendra asked as she tried to calm her loud beating heart beat. Her anxiety was making her high on alert. She was confused.

"Heimdale brought you and your friend here a few days ago." Annalise told her calmly. "Prince Loki is on his way along with Prince Thor. Prince Loki has been training your friend, Lady Wanda." Kendra let out an odd snorting sound at the mention of Wanda being a lady. It had just sounded weird, especially with the ringing noise in her ear.

"Why didn't I get told as soon as Lady Kendra woke up?!" Loki demanded as he entered the room. Kendra snapped her head around, trying to place where he was standing. "Kendra?" Loki questioned, noticing how off she was.

"Loki?" Loki walked over to her side, grabbing her hand to let her know where he was.

"It's alright- you can't hear?"

"In one ear I can- but there's this ringing noise." Kendra muttered as her hand lifted and pressed to her left ear. Loki glanced his green eyes to Annalise, concern in his eyes.

"It'll clear up with time and rest. You hit your head really hard-" She explained.

"Is Wanda alright? I didn't anticipate the explosion." Kendra told them, not really caring about her own health. She dragged her friend to do this and could have seriously injured her. She felt guilty for what she did.

"Lady Wanda is okay. Just showed up a bit shakened up." Annalise told her. Loki scoffed.

"Which she should have been. Heimdale brought you both here, you passed out cold. Bloody and a mess." Loki scolded the woman. Kendra rolled her eyes. "What were you thinking?! Do you have any idea how dangerous that was!? You could have died! You could have been seen by a dark elf- What if-"

"Oh, my god! You and Steve. What if this- what if that. I swear you two-"

"Don't you go comparing me with that Patriotic flag." Loki huffed. Kendra rolled her eyes at her half brother.

"When you two stop worrying so much about me- then I will." She told him. She heard the door open and shut.

"How can I stop worrying about you when you are always throwing yourself into danger??" Loki growled out. They were the only ones in the room. Kendra could only assume they were though. "Did you know?" He asked in a soft, low tone. Kendra raised her eyebrow, confused.

"Know what? That you are insane? Or are you talking about your idiocy?" Kendra huffed back at him. Loki squeezed her hand, alerting Kendra it was more serious than their little sibling bickering. "What is it?" She asked, confused.

Wanda was currently talking with Queen Frigga. Learning about the magic she was apparently gifted with.

"Once you see what you have as a gift, you'll be able to learn to use it correctly." Frigga told Wanda. Wanda only smiled, shaking her head.

"Hard to see it as a gift when it wasn't exactly what you wanted." Wanda said, her accent still thick, but it was becoming easier to understand her as she was around other people.

"And what did you want?" Frigga asked her. Her eyebrow raised and curious. Wanda sighed, knowing her wants from the past have changed dramatically.

"Before- My brother and I, we wanted to avenge our family. A- a missile exploded in our home- killing our parents." Frigga frowned in sympathy at the woman.

"And now?" Frigga asked as they walked through a garden. "Now what do you find yourself wanting?" Wanda looked ahead of her, thinking. What did she want now?

"To live happily. Sounds a bit cliche. I know. But- Kendra had seen my brother and my future. He was going to die in the future she had seen." Wanda let out a puff of air. "I want us to both be able to live- happily." Wanda nodded, happy with her answer. Frigga smiled at her.

"That's a great thing to want." She told her, about to speak more but she was interrupted.

"Wanda, ready to go home?" Kendra asked as she came into the Gardens, Loki following behind her, closely.

"You can't just leave!" Loki told her, anger flaring his nostrils. Frigga raised a brow at her sons behavior. Kendra turned around quickly, her walking stick in hand pointed at the young Prince's chest.

"I can and I will. Now back off." She told him in a stern tone. Loki stopped following her, his eyes holding pain and fear. "Wanda, let's go." Kendra told her. Wanda nodded, walking up to the woman.

"Thank you both for helping me out." Wanda told them, confused on the hostility between the prince and his half sister. She had no idea what was happening and it worried her.

"Make sure to come back sometime. I'll be happy to train you more." Frigga told her, happily. Loki nodded to the witch. His eyes still on his sister. Conflicted on even letting her leave.

"You have to tell him. At least tell that Patriotic man of yours. He might be able to talk you into-"

"I'll take care of it, Loki." Kendra told him, lowering her walking stick. With that, Kendra opened a portal, grabbing Wanda's hand as she pulled the witch through with her. Disappearing altogether.
