Ch 4. The Shadowcat

Logan, Ororo and Hank are currently at the Blackbird in their X-Men suits, readying theirself for the next mission. When they wanted to go, Y/N storm in the hanger. "Where are you going?"

The three look at Y/N. "We're going on a mission." Logan answers.

Y/N looks confuse. "A mission?"

Logan also look confuse because of Y/N's reaction. He looks back at Ororo and Hank. "You haven't told?"

Hank looks back at Ororo. "I believe we didn't."

Storm nods. She looks back at Y/N. "We three are in a team called the X-Men, where we save people by either taken care of bad people or natural disasters." She explains.

Y/N look surprise. "You guys are superheroes?!"

Wolverine chuckles. "I guess we're considered 'heroes'."

Y/N look at the three with awe. "Can I join? I want to be a hero too!"

Beast let out a laugh. "Not today little guy." He smiles at Y/N. "Though perhaps one day you can join the team."

"I can!?" Y/N asks excitedly.

Logan look sternly at Hank. "Don't give the kid any stupid ideas."

"I'm not saying he can join when he's so young, but when he's older." He explains. "Not only that, the boy is a telepath. If he develop his powers further, he can be a useful ally."

Ororo laughs. "If you put it like that, it sounds like you want Y/N to be a super soldier." She teases.

"You know I didn't mean it like that." Hank defends himself.

Ororo giggles. "I know, don't worry." The three look back at Y/N. "Y/N, we will be back soon. Why don't you talk to your dad?"

Y/N nods. "Alright." Before leaving, he gives the three of them a hug. "Good luck!" He walks out of the hanger.

Logan let out a sigh. "The day that kid becomes a X-Men member is the day when I'm officially old."

Present day

The weekend is finished and school starts again. Y/N is with Kurt in Hank's office. The two guys are waiting for what Beast is about to present. Beast walks to Kurt with a watch.

"I made you a device to hide your mutation." Hank hands the watch over to Kurt, who look closer at the watch. "I made it based on a watch, so you can wear it everywhere."

Kurt hums. He grabs the watch with his left and attach it to his right wrist. When it's attached, Kurt again check out the watch. "How does it work?"

Hank stands next to Kurt. "First, you turn it on by pressing the button on the bottom." Kurt follows Beast's instruction. Y/N also looks at the watch, curious by its purpose. "Secondly, you slide the screen from the time to the menu option. Afterwards, go to settings, scroll to disguises and turn it on."

With that, Kurt turns the option on and quickly his appearance changes. He instantly notices his blue skin turn into a pale white skin and his hands turn into regular human hands. He walks over to the mirror and sees his new face. Although it has the same bone structure and black hair, he has now blue eyes. Kurt merely stares at his reflection with a sad face. Y/N grow concerns and walks over to his friend. "Are you alright?"
