Ch 7. Family From The Past

12 years ago...

Y/N is outside playing again outside of the mansion, but this time his friends accompany him. After the telepath picks flowers with his redhead friend, they decided to make a flower crown.

"Will Pietro like this?" Y/N asks.

"Yes, I don't see why not." Wanda responds with a smile on her face.

They soon manage to make a flower crown. Afterwards, they walk back at Pietro, who is sitting near a pond on a bench. As Y/N and Wanda walk to Pietro, the silver hair boy notices Wanda is holding the flower crown. "We've made you a flower crown!" Y/N says with a smile.

Both of the kids sit next to Pietro on the bench. Wanda puts the flower crown on her brother's head. "Do you like it?"

Pietro became flustered by his friend and sister's action. "Umm n-no." The shy boy answers.

Wanda catches Pietro's lie. "You do like it."

Pietro avoids looking at Wanda, who smiles teasingly at her brother. Y/N smiles at the sight of it. "Pietro, don't be shy about it."

"I-I'm not shy...!" Pietro protests.

Y/N giggles and so does Wanda. "I'm going to make a second flower crown, and a third!" She jumps of the bench and sprint away towards the flower field.

Y/N still smiles at the flustered boy. He puts his arm around his friend. "C'mon, we've been friends forever and you still are shy."

Pietro feels more embarrassed. "Uhm..." He merely responds.

"Your dad once said people can change when they become older. Maybe later you're not shy anymore." Y/N suggests. Pietro still acts shy. Y/N smiles. "Well, shy or not, we're still best friends."

Present day

Hank and Ororo arrive back at the institute, successfully getting Rogue, though they lost Y/N. The three of them meet up with Charles, who explains to Rogue about this place and what she should expect about the Xavier institute.

"With that, my explanation is over. Are there any questions you may have?" Charles asks.

"Where can I sleep?" Rogue asks tiredly.

Charles let out a chuckle of Rogue's blunt question. "Ororo, can you show her?"

"Will do." Ororo takes the stairs and Rogue follows her, leaving Charles together with Hank, who is still upset what happened.

"During the mission, we went into separate teams, and I lost Y/N. Logan is currently finding him." Beast admits.

Charles looks somewhat worried, though he remains calm. "Do you think he's in any danger?"

"We've been attacked by the shapeshifter, so I hope Y/N isn't involve by them." Beast answers.

Back at Y/N and Erik, they arrive at the latter's base, a deserted flat. During the way, Y/N and Erik has been catching up with each other.

"I'm glad you've made so many friends." Erik admits with a smile. "Speaking of which, Pietro!" He yells out his son's name, wanting to reach his son.

Within a flash, the silver haired teen arrives with a smirk on his face. "Is there anything you want?"
