After the encounter with Colossus and Sabretooth, Scott walks back towards the Blackbird. During the walk, when he almost reaches the jet, he sees Beast on the ground. Scott checks over Beast, crouching next to him. "Beast? Beast, are you alright?"

Hank opens his eyes. He stands up. "I'm fine." He states. He looks around the area, but no sign of his colleague. "Did you see Storm? And what about Wolverine?"

"Didn't see Storm. Logan and I were attacked by two men. I surrounded, however Logan won against his opponent. I don't know what happened, but he disappeared." Scott explains.

Hank looks concerned. He put his finger against his ear. "Charles? Anybody? Please respond." Hank waits a few seconds, though with no respond. Hank knows this isn't going to work and turn his attention back to Scott. "We should head back to the institute. I have a gut feeling something happened, and I hope I'm wrong."

When they fly back home, up in the sky, they see smoke coming out of the building. Multiple firefighters are fighting the fires. Hank and Scott look horrified at the scene. "Let's land somewhere nearby." Hank says with a frightened voice.

Hank lands the jet near the premise. Afterwards, he and Scott run back at the institute. They quickly got in, where they see the firefighters, as well as some of their friends. Charles is looking over Kitty, Bobby and Jean, who all upset after what happened. When Hank and Scott reach the group, Charles look back at them. "Hank, Scott, I'm glad to see you!"

"What happened!?" Hank asks.

"We got attacked by a group." Charles begins explaining. "The rest of us got attacked, though they neutralized me by locking me up somewhere. Jean, Bobby and Kitty were the only ones left while Kurt and Rouge disappeared."

"Attacked? By whom!?" Hank continues asking.

"It was the brotherhood." Charles states. "Pietro, as well four different men attacked us and those who lost got away."

"I saw Rouge disappearing." Bobby chimes in. He looks down, effected by the situation. "She won against one of the guys. Afterwards, there was this metal ball floating and grabbed Rouge."

Hank looks even more troubled. "Where could they be?"

Charles looks back at the redhaired telepath. "Jean?"

Jean hums quietly. "I read the guy's mind who you call Pietro. The winners of this 'game' go to a place called Asteroid X. "

Hank looks surprised. "An actually asteroid?"

Jean hums, she looks back at Charles. "Not just that. Jean also read that she wasn't the first target. Pietro fought Y/N as well, though he lost."

"Then let's get them all back." Scott states.

"I made the Blackbird be able to fly in space." Hank announces. "If we know the coordinates, we can go there. However, it wouldn't surprise me if we get attacked. Magneto could just manipulate the jet and destroy it."

Charles looks complacent. "We should do this carefully." He looks at the students. "I'm sorry for putting you on the stage, but we need your help."

"It's no problem." Kitty reassures. "We do this for everybody!"

"And we're going to save them!" Bobby adds.

Jean hums. "I want to help too!"

"We can do it. We just need to be careful." Although the rest's voices sound confident and full of motivation, Scott is more analytical.

Charles smiles proudly. "I can still access your suits. Then we can go save everyone."

The X-Men are going up into space. Although with halve of their teammates gone, they are determent to succeed in their rescue mission. With much force against the Blackbird, the X-Men continue pressuring themselves into the cosmos. The Blackbird isn't perfect, but it is far more advance than a regular rocket. Within a minute, the jet arrives at space. Beast, who is steering the jet alongside Charles, make sure to turn on stealth mode, which make them cloak and invisible to a radar.

"Now to look for Asteroid X." Beast looks over to Charles, wanting to hear where their destination is.

Charles looks behind him, looking at the four students sitting behind them. "Jean, can I have permission to read your mind?"

"Of course, professor." Jean responds.

Charles reads Jean's mind, soon having the answer Jean read from the Brotherhood members. After reading, he inputs the info he got. "I got the information."

Now that they know their conformed destination, Beast flies further from the earth and turn into around the globe. Bobby looks out of the window, seeing the small earth slowly getting tinnier, getting nervous being so far from home. With extreme speed, the asteroid is in vision of the X-Men.

"Spotted the target." Beast informs the team. "I'm flying closer, however there is so far we can go before our jet is spotted."

"Which means?" Kitty asks.

"We need to get out of the jet and get in the base." Beast answers. The rest begin to feel nervous about the thought going out in space. Beast fly somewhat closer, now almost at the asteroid, but still some distance.

Beast unbuckle his seat and stand up, now handing over his controls over to Charles. The students also unbuckle themselves and follow Beast with angst. In the back of the jet, in another room than the cockpit, Beast opens a locker that is against the side, taking out an astronaut suit.

"We made these in advance." Beast hands over one to Scott. "There is going to be a string attach on each of us, so we won't get lost." He takes another suit and hands it over to Jean. "If anybody is having second thought, I rather want to hear it now than when you're outside." Beast look the teenagers, all but Scott looks nervous and anxious, but nobody speak up. Beast know that they rather want to go home, but he also knows they want to do this. Beast hands over two other suits over Kitty and Bobby, and lastly one for himself. "We will have enough air for hours, so that won't be a problem. The suits also have jets beneath the boots so we can move around. I advise to remain calm, and we will arrive soon at the asteroid." Beast says while all of them are putting on the suits. Beast double checks every suit is completely save. After that, he puts the white, thick string first on himself and then on the students in order of, Scott, Kitty, Bobby and Jean.

Beast make sure to check again so he doesn't make even a tiny mistake that could turn catastrophic. Luckily, everything is safe and sound. "Charles, we're going to move out." The group begin to walk towards the airlock. It's again in another room where it can safely add air and remove it.

Charles waits till everybody is in the airlock. Beast lock the door so any air won't get escaped from the rest of the jet. "First, I'm going to remove the pressure." The students hold each other's hands as the air is going to decompose. Charles continues doing his duty after the pressure has disappears. "I'm going to open the airlock. On the count of 3, 2, 1." The airlock opens. Everybody feels the gravity change immediately by floating above the floor.

"Everybody don't use the jets unless you have to." Beast orders calmly. "Are we all ready to go?"

The teenagers all respond with a form of yes. Beast stands in the front of the exit and jumps out of the jet. The rest soon follows, one by one. With Beast leading the group, he safely uses the jets towards the asteroid. Within further inspection, the asteroid looks modified. It looks livable with all the rooms created inside and on the edge of the asteroid. The group reaches the base. Beast grabs part of the modified base, below him the rest grab on the same pole. Next to them is a window without anybody inside.

Beast look over at Kitty. "Can you phase us there?" He asks through the comms.

"Yes."

"But when we go in, it is inevitable we're going to be attacked." Scott speaks up. "Knowing that, are we ready to go in?" Everybody replies with a yes. Scott replies with a hum. "Then let's go."
