Both Y/N and Scott go through the park, enjoying whatever it has to over. Scott bought for himself and Y/N cotton candy, which they both are currently eating. A few hours as passed, so the sky turned dark, barely without any clouds. Scott is smiling even more than his friend, who is still enjoying his birthday.

"We haven't go to the Ferris wheel yet." Scott suggests.

"Then let's go." Y/N responds.

Both guys sprint towards the next attraction. After waiting for a few minutes in the line, they are allowed to go in the Ferris Wheel. They take there seats next to each other and go up slowly.

The cart they are in is mostly made out of glass, making it perfect to look out of it. "This is amazing." Y/N smiles widely, looking down at the carnival, which is full of different lights. Seeing all attractions and the different stalls is fun to see for both guys.

Scott smiles at seeing Y/N so happy. "Isn't this the first time you go to a carnival?"

"Yes." Y/N looks back. "I didn't have many opportunities to go out growing up."

"Then how about we go out in town sometime? You ever been in a cinema?" Scott asks.

Y/N shakes his head. "Not yet. In my childhood, my father, big sis, Uncle Hank, Erik or Logan usual put on a movie. Uncle Logan usual putting on the movies I wasn't allowed to see." He chuckles.

"How come you barely got outside growing up?"

"I developed my mutation from when I was a baby or toddler. I wasn't good in controlling it, thus for everybody's safety, my father decided to homeschool me." Y/N responds. He knows it was for the best, but he also wished he had the chance to have a normal childhood. "It wasn't an all bad though. I became closed to my family; I learned a lot and I'm skilled in my gift."

Scott hums. "I remember the day I came to the institute. You looked so happy."

"I was. Father always was working on Cerebro with everyone. He told me the intention of the device, so starting that day I was always hoping to befriend a mutant around my age." Y/N explains, although he didn't mention that he had friends that are gone when Erik left.

"And your dream came true." Scott responds with a smile. "Are there any other dreams?"

Y/N thinks for a moment. "Well, I hope I can continue my father's work. Make a safe haven and school for mutants to learn to control and develop their powers while running the X-Men, though I don't mind not being on the field."

"Sounds like a wonderful dream."

"Thanks. How about you? What are your dreams?" Y/N asks.

"Well..." Scott thinks for a second. "I guess I just want to see everybody happy."

Y/N is surprised that Scott's dream is that simple. "That's it? No jobs, ambitions or anything?"

Scott shakes his head. "No, as long everybody is safe and happy, that's enough with me." He smiles. As the Ferris wheel begins to turn, the cart stopped at the top. Scott looks up in the sky. "Y/N, you can see the stars from here."

Y/N looks up as well. It's rare to have a cloudless night. The stars are shining brightly and look bigger as usual. "It's gorgeous."

Scott hums, agreeing with Y/N. "Have you ever watch the stars? Like, making star correlations out of it."

Y/N shakes his head. "No."

Scott points up in the sky. "Just pick up a couple of stars and try to make a figure out of."
