Ch 64. The Mutant Cure

It's 12PM when they arrive in the US. With stealth mode activated, they fly to the island that is isolated from New York City. Mystique already arrived at the island and waiting for the team to initiate the plan. Soon enough, they get near the island, where the jet stops to see the current status. Like suspected, guards are on the watch, but it looks workable.

"Mystique, what is your position?" Y/N asks through the earpiece.

"Security room is cleared. You're ready to proceed with the plan." Mystique replies.

Y/N hums. He looks back at his teammates. "Get the jet to the back of the island."

Hank and Piotr do what Y/N wishes and slowly fly to the back of the island. Once they arrive, the hatchet opens, allowing the team to get out. Y/N, Pietro, Remy, Kurt and Kitty stand up and are ready to leave. They look down below to see the island they're going to get on.

"Nightcrawler."

"Yez." Kurt allows himself to be grab by the other four members. Afterwards, they teleport to the back, where no one sees them. Next, the jet flies away, leaving the five to the mission.

"There is an empty cafeteria to your left where you can get in. Researchers are walking around, so you better take care of them before continuing." Mystique advice.

"Will do." Y/N leads to the group to the left flank of the building where the cafeteria is. Although with the uneven terrain thanks to the rocks, they successfully get to their destination. "Shadowcat."

Kitty spread out her arms to allow everyone to grab them. With two people on each arm, Kitty phases through the wall and arrive at the cafeteria.

When they get in the room, Y/N instantly uses his mutation to analyze the surrounding area. There are a lot of people currently working in three different rooms. In total, around 26. Other scientists are in the hallway, walking to their destination. Guards are in front of the building and the guards inside are taken care by Mystique in the security room. Lastly, Y/N can sense the mutant in isolation.

"Okay. We first take care of the people in the hallway. We need to make sure to hide the unconscious bodies, one by one." Y/N tells the plan. "Shadowcat, Quicksilver, I leave that to you."

There is a clear difference between the motivation between the two mutants that got orders. Kitty is more than happy to help, while Pietro is only frowning during this mission. They told them to follow and the two get in the mostly white hallway. Y/N knows there are two people at the right corner, coming towards them. The telepath quickly uses his power to put them asleep. With a thud, the team move forward and see the two white coated people on the ground. Kitty and Pietro quickly move to hide the bodies in the rooms on the side.

This continues during the mission. Y/N senses the people, put them asleep, and Kitty and Pietro hide them to appear nothing happened. After around 5 minutes, they quickly get the people walking around the building. Now to move on those who are in the research room. They get to the upper floor and with one quick thought, Y/N put one room asleep. Next, they get in the room, where it appears they are analyzing DNA and the cure.

"Make sure to put them away as well. Don't want any casualties when we blow this up." Y/N orders.

Kitty and Pietro did so and work while the other three move on to the next room. Again, with ease, Y/N put these people asleep. With a quick look in the room, around 9 people are on the ground. It appears they are also looking into DNA and the cure.

Now moving on to the last room, the vessel put them asleep as well. With every scientist asleep, it's now moving on to the next phase. Now to deal with the guards. Like the scientist, they get all unconscious within a second.
