Ch 18. The End Of A Plan

The X-Men arrived in the asteroid, their astronaut suits off. They immediately hears the alarm ringing through the building. They know there presence is detected and begin moving through the station. The team leave a room that contained a sitting area and are now in a hallway.

"Does anybody knows where we're going?" Kitty tries to sound relaxed, but it still came off as panicked.

Jean begins using her mutation to detect someone in this place unknown to them. "To the left. On the upper level I detect multiple people."

"Friend or foe?" Bobby asks.

"I couldn't concentrate enough to know any further detail." Jean says with an apologetic voice.

"Then we just have to make the best of the situation." Scott replies.

The group take a hallway to the left. After a minute of running, there is a staircase that take them upstairs. Once they are upstairs, there is a split, though they continue running towards the left. They see a reinforced door made out of metal.

"Everybody prepares yourself for the worse." Beast reminds the group. He's taken the charge and forces the door open. There, he sees Magneto and the Brotherhood members that won against them. In the back of the room, there are tubes with Logan, Ororo, Kurt and Rogue. Jean, Bobby and Kitty flinches when they see their housemates inside of the tubes. Scott and Hank know they shouldn't district themselves in this situation and give their full attention on their foes.

"It seems you came." Erik greets them. "Do you consider joining my army?" He smiles, knowing that isn't the case.

"What army are you talking about?" Beast asks.

"The army I'm going to launch on earth. To liberate the mutants from the humans. The army that is the future of mutant kind and the heroes that will save them." Magneto answers Beast question.

"It's such a shame your ambition is clouded in hate." Beast look disappointed in the situation. "Do you expect our friends to join your army?" Beast then notices Y/N isn't in the tubes. "And where is Y/N?"

"The boy is fine. He knows this is for the best of mutant kind, and so will the rest. I will convince them, even if I force them into it." Magneto voice sounds gravy when he said 'force'.

Scott and Hank glares. "Let them go." Scott orders, taking a step forward. "We're leaving with everybody, whether you like it or not."

Erik chuckles, clearly not feeling intimidated. "For someone so pushy, you sure seem to quickly give up when Colossus challenged you."

Scott didn't reply back at first. He puts his right hand against his headset. "I suggest taken a step back. I wouldn't want to cause a hospitalization."

Magneto's men all know this is the moment they are going to be in a big fight. Erik merely laughs, entertainment by the situation. "Then let's see who's ambition and will is stronger, mine or Charles'."

When Y/N and Piotr hear the alarm going off, they stand up, and look around. Piotr tries to remain calm and so does Y/N.

"What is going on?!" Y/N asks. Both of them were enjoying some silence in a room until this happened.

"I think we're going on attack." Piotr expresses his thought.

Colossus sprints out of the room, changing into his other form. Y/N follows him, not knowing what else to do. After running through multiple hallways, stressing of the situation and not knowing what exactly is happening, they arrive at the main observatory. There, they see the Brotherhood fighting against the X-Men. Y/N flinches when he sees his teammates, not expecting him and the rest to be rescued.
