Final Chapter. The End Of The Phoenix

When the battle is over, everybody regroups in front of the palace. Once there, they take a breather. When they fought SHIELD, they saw Scott's wound. Hank, Y/N and Kurt brought him in the building. Since they, as well Charles are inside. The group gets back in the castle. They get down to the bunker. Once there, a part of them split off to say the good news to the citizens. The other half are searching for Charles and the rest. It luckily didn't take them too long to find them, since they are still in the infirmary room. There, they see Y/N sitting beside Scott, who's recovering while everybody else is by his side.

"We've won." Ororo announces. "There is no foe left on the island."

"That's good." Charles replies.

Logan walks over to Y/N, who's smiling widely with the revival of Scott. "How are ya holding up?"

"I'm fine... Feel like shit though." Scott admits with a huff. "But-"

"It's alright, Scott." Y/N reassures.

"No, it isn't."

"What are you talking about?" Bobby feels like he's missing out on something, alongside with the rest.

Y/N drops his smile as he looks back at Scott, both of them looking quiet somber. "I had the cure in my pocket... and when I got stabbed and fell, it broke..."

Everyone that just came in the room look extremely alarmed. "What!?" Logan yells.

Scott looks down, feeling ashamed. "This is all my fault..."

"No it isn't!" Y/N grabs his hand and hold it dearly. "You saved my life and you almost died. Don't give yourself such a hard time."

"But-"

"Stop." Y/N interrupts his fiancé. "Don't blame this on yourself. It wasn't your fault. We... we just have to figure out a different solution."

"And what are those alternatives?" Piotr wonders Y/N is thinking about. "We already removed the option about... ending you, so that lefts transferring the Phoenix onto someone else."

Logan looks back at Emma with the edge of his eyes. "Well, looks like you have a chance to atone yourself."

Emma looks slightly nervous, meanwhile Y/N looks surprised. "What!? No, please, we can't!"

"Why the hell not?" Logan questions.

"Because... it's just wrong... besides, she was the reason why Scott survived this."

"What do you mean?" Kitty asks.

"Scott died." Everybody looks surprised when Hank answers the question. "His bleeding was too much, and all seem to be lost. Luckily, Ms. Frost brought up the fact that Y/N can use his powers to resurrect him."

"He what!?" Piotr blurts out. "How?"

"It's part of the Phoenix's powers." Charles adds. "And if Ms. Frost haven't brought it up, Scott may be dead forever."

"Even still, that doesn't mean she's off the hook." Logan argues and looks back at Y/N. "What else do you want? Do you want us to kill you?"

"Huh!? N-No!"

"Then what?! You're going to live with the Phoenix?"

"No!"

"Then what do want!?" Logan yells frustratedly.

"I-I don't know! I-I..."

The room became quiet after the conversation got heated. A couple of seconds passes by as Logan looks at Y/N frustrated face, who quietly looks back at Y/N. Eventually, Charles speaks up.
