The next day, Y/N is in his room, packing all kind of things in a duffel bag. He decides he's only going to bring mostly the most essential, such as different clothes, such as his casual, PJ's and his X-Men suit. Then he puts in his toothbrush and toothpaste. Although he needs to pack his essentials, Y/N doesn't know what to pack next.

"Umm..."

He looks around, though he quickly stops when his eyes locks on the photo next to his bedside. It's the photo of his 5-year-old, happily being hugged from behind by Erik while standing next to his childhood friends, Pietro and Wanda.

"I wonder what you would do, uncle..." Y/N hopes he; Pietro and Wanda are doing well. It's been a few months since he saw them. Hopefully it's not the final time, and when they meet up again, hopefully it's going to be in a better scenario.

A knock can be heard from behind the door, making Y/N put the photo in his duffel back that is on his bed. "Come in!"

The door opens, revealing it to be Bobby, who quickly notices the duffel back and look sorrowful. "I guess you made your choice..." He closes the door behind him.

"I did. I'm not going to regret it."

"If you say so." Bobby still wants Y/N to change his mind, but he doesn't come here to preach. "So... it's this it?"

"What is?"

"The last time I- we see you..." Bobby walks over to Y/N to stand closer to him.

"I don't think so. We stay together, even if we're apart." Y/N keeps those words close to heart.

"How are you so sure?" Bobby asks anxiously. "You're going to be hunted down by SHIELD for Christ's sake!"

"I know, but still, we have our ways, we just need to be careful about it." Y/N let out a soft and reassuring smile, but it doesn't appear Bobby gets affected by it. "If you're worried about my safety, don't worry. I'm not alone."

"That's not what I'm worried about...!" Bobby grows frustrated, making Y/N somewhat startled. "I hate that I can't see the guy that saved me from my asshole parents anymore! I hate that you're the one that is leaving! I hate that I didn't had the guts to tell you I meant the kiss!" Y/N looks stunned at Bobby, who is panting out all of his anger. After some seconds of calming down, Bobby quickly turns around and walk towards the exit.

"Bobby!" Y/N grabs Bobby by the arm, who tries to snatch it away. "Don't leave. You're going to regret it."

Bobby, after many attempts, reclaims his arm and glares towards Y/N. "So, what do you want, huh?"

"I want to you to talk. I want you to say everything before that chance goes away. That way, you won't be fed up when I leave." Bobby looks to be calming down. He walks over to the bed, sitting down. Y/N does the same. "I'm here and ready to listen."

The iceman let out a deep breath. "I was so happy that day you when we met. I was lost, scared. I hated myself. I hated that I was different. I hated that I couldn't do anything about it. That all changed when I met you. You helped me when I needed the most. Still, I didn't have the guts to tell my parents... until this Christmas."

Y/N looks surprised. "What did they say?"

"They told me the doctors are going to find a cure." Bobby answers with a shaky breath. "I hung up the phone and didn't talk to them ever since. Even despite what my parents think, I feel happy being with you. So, ever since I live with you and the rest, I... developed feelings for you. I always thought you were so cool. You were like Logan, Ororo, Hank and the rest, but you were still around our age. You were someone I aspire to be and want to be with..." Bobby looks back next to him. "I wished I told you during the Halloween party about my feelings. Instead, he..."
