Ch 14. Colossus

After a few minutes when the students arrive back in at the institute, Logan got a message from Charles to go find him in his office. Within a minute, he arrives. "Anything happened Chuck?"

"Yes, I found a new mutant nearby, although I'm a bit busy right now. Is it possible you and somebody else can go to them and talk to them?" Charles requests.

"Alright." Logan complies with the request. He starts thinking who to bring him, though he quickly thought of an answer. "Can I bring one of the students? They learn faster on the field and ain't dangerous."

Charles smiles. "Great idea."

Logan turns around and walk away. "Then I'm going." He walks out of the room and searches for the person he's looking for. He takes a lucky guess and go to his room and he's right. There the teenager is unpacking his stuff. "Summers, you're with me." Scott flinches when he suddenly hears Logan. He turns his head around to see him. "Now." Logan adds.

Logan and Scott are in the Blackbird, both wearing their suits. Logan is piloting the jet and Scott is sitting beside him. "Chuck said the mutant is at the coast. We should arrive soon." Logan says.

Scott merely hums. Logan thinks it weird of how quiet Scott is. Though he stays quiet as well. Both of them quickly arrive at the empty, cliffside coast. Logan lands the jet on the beach, afterwards, he and Scott step out of the jet. Logan looks around. "He's probably around here." Logan begins to start walking forward. Scott follows him. Both of them are quiet away from the jet that they can't see it. Logan continues looking around till he eventually stops when he looks something shocking. He draws out his claws. Scott also looks at where Logan is glaring. "What are YOU doing here!?"

At top of a ledge, two men are standing. One with a malicious smile and other one with torn face. The one with the smile looks like a beast, a big and muscle build and sharing claws with Logan. The other man is taller than the first one and has short black hair.

"Missed me Wolverine?" Sabretooth taunts him with a glee smile.

"The only thing I'm missing is bringing cologne for your gross body." Logan responds.

Sabretooth chuckles. He gives the other man a short gaze. "Piotr, you take on the boy. I want the Wolverine." Piotr doesn't seem happy, though he nods. Sabretooth drops down on the beach and sprints towards Wolverine.

"Get to the jet kid. I take care of this piece of shit." Logan orders.

Scott complies and run towards the Blackbird. In the background he hears Logan and Sabretooth fighting. When Scott almost reaches the jet, a giant boulder falls a few feet in front of him. Soon enough, Piotr in his metal form lands in front of Scott. "I do not want to fight you. For your sake, please give him up."

Scott complies and puts his arms up, which surprises Piotr. He thought there would be a battle, although he's happy it turns out this way. Quickly, a metal ball flies towards Piotr, now floating above him. It opens and wires came out of it to grab Colossus and put him in the ball. Afterwards, it flies away in towards the clouds.

Back to Logan and Sabretooth, they both exchange blows. "You're like a cockroach! Always coming back when you're not invited." Logan says with spite, dodging one of the Sabretooth's claws.

"I will when you die." Sabretooth retorts.

Sabretooth takes his energy to try to cut Logan up, however Wolverine dodges and jump behind Sabretooth. He put his leg up to trip Sabretooth. Logan quickly grabs Sabretooth by the shoulder and head, drag him towards the ocean and begins to drown Sabretooth. "Hopefully this will kill you." Logan says with anger.

Sabretooth tries to grab Wolverine, though he can't grab him. Wolverine puts his weight upon Sabretooth so he can't get up. After a few seconds, Sabretooth begins to calm down and lost consciousness. Logan let go with a satisfying smile. "Finally-!" He yelped when suddenly wires surround him to lift him up. Logan tries to cut himself open, though he can't even lay a scratch. Despite his actions, Logan fails to break free and gets put in the same kind of metal ball Y/N and Colossus got in.

Y/N walks around the space station. It's been around an hour since he got there. He glances out of the window, seeing earth again. Although he calms down, he's still worried about the rest. Now, he arrives back at the main room, where he sees Erik and a new person talking to each other.

Erik notices Y/N walking in. "Do you feel accustomed to the asteroid?"

"No." Y/N merely replies quietly while walking towards the two. He looks at the new guy, Piotr. If he got here, does that mean he defeated one of his friends? He avoids looking at the men, but by doing it, he lay eyes on certain that worries Y/N. "L-Logan...!?" Y/N sprints towards a tube where Logan is in, asleep. Next to the glass tube is an flat panel, though the teenager could care less about how the tube looks like. Y/N tabs on the glass with his fist, wanting to get a reaction. "Logan! Uncle!"

"He's in stasis." Erik stands next to Y/N.

Y/N snaps his head to Erik. "But why?!"

"Because he just wants to kill me. I can't spend time worrying to get a knife in my back." Erik explains.

"Is everybody I know going to get in these tubes?" Y/N is scared to know the answer, although he can guess what it is.

Erik looks sympathetically at Y/N. "I'm afraid that will be the case."

Y/N stay quietly for seconds, not knowing how to respond. Within a few seconds, he turns around and run away. Although he isn't used to this place, he decided to get back to the room he wakes up to, wanting to be alone. Once he's back, he drops down on the bed and his knees against his face. He begins to cry because of fear, but not just that, but also because there isn't anything he can do. Y/N wishes he get back and save his friends, but he can't. He hears the door open and see the new guy.

"Tell me what's wrong." Piotr look at Y/N with empathy.

Y/N sits up. "I hate this. Everybody I know is in danger and I can't do anything to help them." He says with sobs.

Piotr sits next to Y/N. He offers a hug, which Y/N gladly accept. "I know how you feel. I don't like this too. Erik is forcing me to do this. I rather spend time with my family than getting into this mess."

"What do you mean with forcing you?" Y/N asks.

"That man threatened me if I don't join him, he's going to hurt my family. He's holding them hostage now." Piotr answers.

Y/N looks up to Piotr. "I remember Uncle Erik once being such a kind man..." Piotr stays quietly, not wanting to respond. "I want to know. Who did you fight against?"

"I first want to see that the boy surrounded. I didn't lay a finger on him." Piotr answers. Y/N is happy knowing one if his friends aren't hurt. "I don't know his name, but he wears odd glasses."

"That must be Scott." Y/N smiles at the thought of him. "I'm glad you didn't hurt him."

"I agree." Piotr responds with a smile. They stop hugging. Piotr looks down at the smaller guy. "What is your name?"

"Y/N. And you?"

"Piotr." He answers. "I think it's for the best if we stay together during this duration."

"That would be nice, if you don't mind."
