Ch 12. The Camping Trip

The students of Charles Xavier are standing near the school bus, which takes them to the forest alongside the other sophomores. Ororo and Logan are with the students.

"Remember to behave yourself." Ororo reminds the students.

"We know." Bobby says tiredly.

"Y/N, snitch on them if they misbehave." Logan says with a smile.

"Do I have to?" Y/N asks. Although he would probably do it, he doesn't want to be seen as a snitch.

"It's time to get in the bus!" An old, naggy teacher with a chain-smoking voice order aggressively.

Everybody turns back at Ororo and Logan. "Remember, if anything happens, call us or go to Y/N." Ororo reminds them.

"We will." Kurt says back. "However, I'm zure everything will be fine."

Ororo smiles. "Remember to have fun."

Kitty smiles happily. "We will."

Every student gets in the bus. The mutants sit with each other. Around the middle of the bus, Y/N, Scott and Jean are sitting in front of the sophomores. The teacher walks in. "We're ready to leave. You all better buckle up!" She yells. The bus driver begins to ride. Every student begins to talk to each other as the naggy teacher sits down.

"What a bitch." Bobby mutters quietly to himself.

"So, I decided to do some research about where we go." Rogue begins making a conversation. "Apparently the woods have an urban legend where a family got lost and died. Do you think it's haunted?" She tries to test her friends' waters.

"I doubt that." Jean responds. Her voice is slightly taken back by Rogue's story. "Why would the school send us to a place with such story?"

Scott ignores the ghost story and turn his attention to the guy next him. "You excited for the trip?"

"Yes, this is the first time I'm going camping with friends." Y/N says with a thrilled voice. "Last time I camped, it was a few years ago with Uncle Logan. I... wasn't that good at it." He let out a nervous chuckle.

Scott smiles, happy his friend is excited. "Last make it the best we can."

Y/N nods. "Of course."

"I doubt that a nine-year-old girl is haunting the forezt." Kurt says doubtfully. "Zere is a reazon the story is an urban legend."

"I know." Rogue responds with a smile. "Is just something fun to think about?"

Jean looks disturbed. "What about a deceased nine-year-old is fun?"

"Maybe we should talk about something else." Kitty suggests. She quickly lights up. "What do you think we're going to do?"

"Well, we're probably begin by setting up camp." Scott replies. "After that, I heard from other students we're going on a hike."

The students soon arrive in the forest, outside of the city. After stepping out of the bus and grabbing their bags, the teachers say they are going to set up camp with the students. Currently, Y/N, Scott, Kurt and Bobby are setting up one big tent while the other students are setting up tents in groups.

"Scott, it must sucks for you not allowed to join Jean's tent." Bobby says teasingly.

Scott gives Bobby a tired face. "No."
