After rescuing Y/N, as well for helping out the civilians that came from the incident, they arrive back at the X-mansion. Y/N is once again in the infirmary bed, where Hank is checking him up again. From the other room, looking through the window are Charles, talking with Logan, Ororo and Scott.

"And what about the civilians?"

"We all put them on an island Bobby created. Afterwards, we transported them to the mainland and made sure they get somewhere safe." Ororo answers to Charles' question.

"That's good. On the other hand..." Charles looks at his son, beyond worried. "Let's discuss what happened to him."

"From what we know, we discovered Y/N in a room that is much like Cerebro. My theory is that Magneto build it and without a telepath, he and his men kidnap Y/N to use it. Though, I don't know what Magneto was thinking." Scott shares his thoughts, which Charles seem to agree.

"I don't know for sure either, but it can't be good. Cerebro is a tool that many people could consider sacred. Magneto may wanted to seek out someone, or he wanted to use Cerebro as a weapon and hurt someone."

"Is that even possible?" Logan asks.

"Yes. I never done it, and I never want to, but in you can get in someone's mind and hurt their mind state." Charles adds. "Perhaps Y/N knows the answer?"

"We ask him when he wakes up then, after he get some rest of course." Scott replies. "Besides that, it's not like Magneto could follow up his plan..."

Charles frows. Despite Erik being the one that is in his way of his plan to unite the regular humans and mutants, he was his dear friend long ago. "Right..."

"Does that mean Genosha, and the brotherhood are gone?" Logan wonders, now that their leader is gone.

"I don't know. We know Magneto is gone, but we don't know about his henchman." Ororo says. "Besides that, I would imagine his children still has some kind of grudge, even with if their father doesn't control them anymore."

"If they are alive." Logan adds. "Don't you or someone else from your squad saw any of them?"

"No, we only saw civilians. We haven't saw Quicksilver or the Scarlet Witch, or any other people from the Brotherhood, at least those we know for." Ororo answers.

"Are you wondering about why everything was on fire in the first place?" Scott brought it up.

"Couldn't an accident happen?" Ororo knows this is probably not the answer, yet she still wants to put it on the table.

"Knowing Magneto, he's prepared this for quite some time." Logan dismisses the idea. "Though I don't have really an answer for what it is. If it was someone like Pyro and just started a fire, Magneto could've stopped him easily, since his castle is made out of metal."

"And what about Cerebro?" Scott suggests. "Maybe there was some problem with it, and it started a fire."

"Still, Magneto made sure to perfect it." Logan still is doubt. "He wouldn't have a single flaw in that machine. Beside, didn't he helped Chuck for a period." The masculine man looks back at Charles, who's deep in thought. "What do you think, Chuck?"

"Hmm?" Charles looks back at Logan. "Oh, sorry."

Ororo knows what is bothering the professor. "How about we talk about it later? Surely Y/N knows something, even if it's little."

"True." Scott says. "I'm going to see him."

"I come as well." Logan joins Scott to get in the infirmary.
