Ch 34. Closing Deadline

Y/N got a message from his boyfriend to meet him in his bedroom, so here he is, standing at the door, waiting for Scott to open the door. Once he opens it, Y/N instantly sees Scott distressed face.

"Are you okay? You look worried." Y/N begins to worry.

Scott didn't reply. His head points to his room. Y/N gets it and get in the room. He sits on Scott's bed and his boyfriend sit next to him. "Y/N, I don't want you to go outside anymore."

Y/N blinks a few times, processing the sudden order. "Huh? What are you talking about?"

"I don't want you to go outside anymore, not without me." Scott's tone sounds serious, which freaks Y/N out even more.

"Why? Is there something I should know?" Y/N asks.

It takes a few seconds until Scott replies. "I want you to be safe. If you understand that, then don't go away. Please."

"Scott..." Y/N doesn't like to take commands without any reason. "You know I can't stay here. I need to go to school. We have finals coming up."

"Y/N. Please. Please don't go." Scott voice quiet down, more sounding like begging.

"Then tell me what's going on." Y/N put a hand on Scott's hand, which calms him down.

Y/N awaits until he hears Scott speaks up. "I tell you another time..." Scott frowns. "Trust me Y/N."

Y/N sighs. He closes his eyes. "I take a day off. However, I expect you tell what's going on. I don't want to be in a relationship were we hide important information."

Scott looks upset. "I understand..."

Charles' son walks in his office, where he and the other adults are currently. They sit around in a circle.

"Y/N, shouldn't you be in school?" Charles asks, confused seeing his son still home. The rest wonders this as well.

"I just want to say I'm not going today." Y/N responds. The group look slightly surprised. "Scott is worried about something and said it would be best I don't go today."

Logan instantly looks annoyed. "Are ya fucking serious!? Ignore him and go to school."

"But he sounds really worried." Y/N agrees with Logan, though he has a gut feeling he should listing to his boyfriend.

"And what reason does he have that you aren't allowed to go to school?" Hank wonders out loud.

"...I don't know yet." The teen admits.

Logan mentally slaps his face. "That fucking kid." His disdain for Scott grows closer by the moment.

Another person enters the room. This time the redhead, Jean. "I heard something about Scott. He's been acting weird."

"To you too?" Y/N asks. "Has he been saying that you aren't allowed to leave the house."

"Yes." Jean responds, slightly frustrated with the vague situation. "He never gave a reason why though."

"Ignore him!" Logan groans.

"But-"

Y/N gets interrupted by his fellow classmate. "I don't intend to stay without reason. I have better things to do." Jean plans to complain to Scott about the why he's acting. She turns around and walks away.
