Ch 19. Halloween Party

Brown and all kind of different color leaf's covers the ground. Y/N is surprised how fast time changes. It is around 2 months ago when Y/N isn't the only teen living at the institute. He couldn't guess his live changes so much. Though bad things happened to him and his family and friends, the telepath focusses on the positive. Halloween, a holiday Y/N enjoys very much. Favorite holiday after Christmas. Tonight, is the night where he plans to dress up and enjoy time with his friends. Though for now he needs to wait, since it's schooltime. Y/N is enjoying his break with the rest of his guy friends, Scott, Bobby and Kurt, sitting on a table outside.

"Do you all also have a costume for tonight?" Y/N asks.

"I'm planning to dress up as a greaser." Scott smiles. "I want something that complements my glasses... and I just happened to enjoy the greaser style."

Y/N looks at Scott and chuckles. "You would look good as a greaser."

"I'm planning to dress up as Dracula." Kurt says. "Alzough I need zome help to put on all ze make-up. Can any of you help?"

"I can help you when I put on my costume." Bobby offers. "The pirate suit I have is easy to put on, so I have some extra time."

From the side, Jean walks over to her friends. "Hey everyone. I got good news. I got invited to Duncan's party and I can bring other people."

Y/N look excited. "That would be awesome!"

"Are you sure you can bring us?" Bobby grins. "Won't Duncan be jealous you bring your handsome friends over?"

"Which handsome friends are you talking about?" Jean ruthlessly responds, though Bobby laughs in respond. "And if you're suggesting we're a couple, we're not."

"And here I though your milkshakes bring the boys to the yard." Jean looks offended and gives Bobby a jab against the stomach.

"That's it, I'm leaving!" Jean turns around and walks away.

Bobby recovers from the pain quickly and continue smiling. "She's obviously dating the jock guy." He looks at Scott. "Maybe it's time to confess you're love to her?"

"That's hard when I don't love her." Scott merely responds, sounding serious as always.

"Then do you have eyes on someone else? Rogue perhaps, or even Kitty?" Bobby asks. Scott merely looks sternly at Bobby, which makes his smile drop. "I can't ever talk about girls with you. How about you Kurt?"

"I prever not talking about women the vay you talk about zem." Kurt responds.

"It's just crushes." Bobby argues.

"Bobby, I know you for more than a month. You don't just talk about crushes." Kurt emphases 'just'.

Bobby scoffs. He looks back at Y/N. "Y/N, back me up man!"

"I'm not a guy that wants to talk about girls. I'm not even into girls." Y/N respond.

Bobby and Kurt look surprised, Bobby more than Kurt. "You're into dudes!?" Bobby asks.

"Yes." Y/N merely respond.

"Shit, that means I have nobody to talk about these guy problems." Bobby sighs.

"Then don't make your love life a problem." Scott scolds Bobby.

It's the night of the party. Y/N looks in the mirror with a smile on his face. He always wanted to dress up as the war hero of world war 2, Captain America. He got the whole suit, boots, helmet and a shield made of carton and paint. With a happy smile, he walks out of his bedroom and go to the living room where he and the rest meet up. The girls are already picked up for the party by Jean's friend. Charles, Logan, Hank, Ororo and Piotr are enjoying their time together and sees Y/N.
