It's the next day after the tragedy of Genosha. Every citizen on the island is mourning the losses. In the garden behind the palace, everyone is sitting and listen to the funeral. There, there are 6 tombstones. For Mystique, Toad, Avalanche, Pyro, Blob and the late king, Magneto. All of them just get buried. The sound of crying can be heard. Wanda, who's crying her eyes out, is comforted by her older brother, who looks hollow at the scene. Kurt looks exhausted at his mother's grave. Scott, who lost his mutation, looks exhausted. He's still wearing his glasses. Alex and Domino look devastated with the loss of their fellow Brotherhood members. As for the X-Men, although not the fondest memories of those who perished, they're willing to pay their respect.
Y/N is standing on a podium. Although his face is red with dried tears, he wants something to say to the people he now is responsible for.
"We all fought yesterday for the citizens of this land, and to a degree, we successfully did, but we still loss. Mortimer, Lance, John, Fred, Raven, and Erik... they all fought to the end so we can live. However, even though we survived the fight, we haven't won the war. Erik had a dream... a dream for a safe haven for mutants. A dream that this country will flourish. I, and many of my friends, are prepared to make this dream a reality. However, we need the help of its citizens. We're not in need of fighters, but builders. We're in need of people who can rebuild the damages and make this island into a paradise. So please let me ask you, we can't do this along. Make this dream a reality. They can't see the end, but we still can make the paradise they're dreaming of."

Somewhere secured and hidden, a SHIELD agents walk inside a prison chamber, in his right hand is a laptop. He's helmet is on his head. Once he's inside of the heavily fortified room that is specially created, he sees the prisoner, Charles Xavier. With how the room is created, he can't use his powers to get someone from outside the chamber to get him out. Not like he's going to do that. The agent opens a laptop. Charles is curious what happened, since he barely got any news about the situation. After a few seconds, the man put the laptop in his hand so Charles can see the screen.
"Good morning, Xavier."
"What do you want Fury? I already answered all of your questions."
"I have nothing to ask. I simply want to share some news. Your former associate, Erik Lehnsherr, has passed away."
Charles looks startled, but soon gets what Fury is going after. "You're telling me SHIELD took him out?"
"That's classified information."
"And yet you shared this with me." Charles points. "And why? So, you can get any more info about my former team."
"If that's how you interpret this, that's on you." Fury merely responds.
"So, you're still struggling to get a hold on my son. I bet you severely underestimate him and the X-Men." Charles is confident in the safety for his team, even though he isn't sure about their safety.
"You would like to think that." Fury says with a smirk. "That's all I wanted to say. Until we meet again, Xavier."
The agent closes the laptop and walks out of the room, leaving Charles along in his cell again. He wonders how long he's going to stay there. All he cares about his son's and his team's safety. If SHIELD doesn't tell him their dead, then it must they're alive.
