Ch 20. Drinking Away The Pain

Y/N arrives back at the mansion. He stops the car in front of the door and steps out of the car. He sees his friends asleep in the car. The telepath walks in the house and searches around for his housemates. "I'm back!"

"Welcome home!" Piotr yells.

Y/N doesn't know where the voice is coming from. Soon enough he sees the giant alongside Ororo coming from the stairs. "How was the party Y/N?" Ororo asks.

"About that..." Y/N looks nervous at them. "Bobby, Kurt and Kitty has been drinking in the party."

Ororo looks disappointed. "Where are they?"

Y/N follows the lead and Ororo and Piotr follows him. "In the car."

Once Y/N opens the door, the other two see the asleep teenagers. "Can you help me bring them to bed?" The telepath asks.

Ororo and Piotr complies. Y/N takes Kurt, Ororo takes Kitty and Piotr takes Bobby. Y/N and Ororo are struggling to move the two, though Piotr simply carries Bobby. A few minutes later of carrying another person in the mansion and up the stairs. Y/N arrives in Kurt's room. He carefully puts Kurt in bed with the blankets covering him. Y/N let out a tired sigh and pants while walking out of the room. Once he is out of the room, he sees Piotr and Ororo again.

"Kitty is in bed." Ororo announces.

"Same with Bobby." Piotr adds. "We scold them first thing in the morning."

Y/N nods and let out a yawn. "Thank you. I should've better watch out for them though."

Ororo crosses her arms. "Don't blame yourself because they got drunk." She reassures. "What about the rest?"

"Jean told me her friend bring her back alongside Rogue and Scott I assume." Y/N answers.

"Good. You look tired, so make sure to take some rest." Ororo smiles kindly at Y/N. "Goodnight." She walks away.

"Night night." Y/N respond. Before Y/N has a chance to walk back to his room, his phone goes off from his pocket. He takes it out and sees the callers ID, Jean. "Hello?"

"Y/N! There is an emergency!" Jean says loudly, clearly concerned. "Scott got drunk!"

Y/N look shocked. Piotr is intrigued what conversation Y/N is having. "What!? I'm going to pick him up. Just stay with him, okay?"

"Alright, see you soon." Jean disconnects.

Y/N puts the phone back in his pocket and give Piotr a tired face. "Scott got drunk."

Piotr look disappointed but manage to laugh it off. "And here I thought me, and my old buddies were obsessed with drinking." Y/N takes the stairs, as does Piotr. "Let me drive. Your way too tired for it."

Y/N hums. "Fine."

Here he is once again at the party, only not for partying. Piotr parks the car nearby and the two step out. Y/N leads him and himself towards the house. They see Scott and Jean sitting on the stairs that leads towards the front doors. Jean makes sure that Scott is doing alright, even though he looks really upset. Jean looks at Y/N and Piotr when she sensed them. "Thank you for coming. I hope you're not too tired."

"I'm fine." Y/N can't help but to yawn while talking. He walks over to Scott. "You, okay?" Scott looks up, looking at Y/N's face. He merely shakes his head. Y/N is concerned for his friend and found it odd he's acting like this, knowing full well he shouldn't drink. Y/N helps Scott up and help him stand up. "Let's get you to bed. You feel better tomorrow." Y/N looks back at Jean. "Try not to stay up late. Also, make sure Rogue is doing alright."
