Y/N and Hank are sitting at a table in Beast's lab. Y/N have multiple books open that is his homework. A pencil is in his hand, struggling to write on an answer on the questions. Beast is holding a book in his hand, helping Y/N to understand the subject.
"I really am not good in physics." Y/N let out a sigh.
"Well, when you enroll in high school you have physics too." Hank says.
Y/N let out a hum. He turns back at Hank. "Is it weird I feel nervous about going to high school Uncle Hank?"
"No, it's completely understandable." Hank says with a kind smile. "You've been homeschooled your entire life. It's okay to feel nervous."
"What was your experience with high school?" Y/N asks.
"It was fun. I learned a lot during my high school carrier and got to know many people." Hank explains. "Though at the time I my mutation sometimes start to act up, but since you already learned to control your mutation, I doubt that will happen."
Y/N let out a quiet hum. "It's going to be my first time getting out of the house without anybody with me. I guess that's the thing that really gets to me."
"It's the part growing up Y/N. You have to learn to rely on your own, and I have full trust you can do it. You already do so many things at your age. You just have to adept to a new change into your life, however knowing you, you do it successfully." Hank smiles at Y/N.
Y/N smiles. "Thanks Uncle Hank."
"You're welcome." Hank says back. "Now, how about we continue working on your work?"

Present day
Charles invited Y/N to his office. When his son arrives, Charles again wants to ask a favor of his son.
"You want me to join you to pick up another student?" Y/N asks.
"Not necessary." Charles answers. "This person is a different case then the pervious instances. The teenager I want to help just developed his mutation. When I visited him and his parent, the parents weren't accepting the fact his son is a mutant nor do they have tolerance for mutants."
"Yikes. I feel sorry for the guy." Y/N couldn't imagine growing up as a mutant with parents who don't tolerate mutants. "Are they scared of mutants? Or do they just straight up hate mutants?"
"I'm sure they are scared." Charles responds. "However, that doesn't change the fact that the kid needs us. I didn't have the chance to talk with the boy alone. Not just that, he also doesn't control his mutation, so any stressful situation can act up his powers."
Y/N pities the teenager even more. "Is there anything we can do?"
"Well, I have an idea. I thought it would be better if you talk to him, since you are just a year older. You can have an honest conversation with him about the institute and about mutants." Charles explains.
"Alright, but what about the parents?" Y/N asks.
"I'm not certain yet, however we can think of that when he's convinced to join you." Charles says.
