Ch 73. The Discoveries

"So you want me to look for Emma Frost?"

"Yes." Inside the meeting room, the entire team, including Bucky is talking to Caliban to learn the location for the one that caused Y/N's situation. "Can you do that?" Y/N asks.

"I can, but there's one problem. I can't track her to the point down."

"Whaddaya mean?" Rogue speaks up. "You've done perfectly when tracking down Mystique." Y/N and Kurt remembers that well. They were amazed when he knew where she exactly lives, to the point of the name of the street and house number.

"This is different. That's because she was in the district. Your target isn't. I can only sense where she is, not the exact position." Caliban explains.

"Isn't there something we can do to make your search easier?" Ororo asks.

Caliban thinks about it. "You know the game called Hot and Cold?"

"What about it?" Logan just wants him to explain it.

"It's exactly what it means. The closer she is, the better I can sense her position. Here's my plan. We fly around, I give directions and we find her."

"B-But she could be everywhere!" Kitty argues.

"Then we fly around the planet." Caliban merely replies.

Bobby sighs. "And here I thought things were going to be easier from now on..."

Caliban hears him. "You say that, but that jet of yours sure is fast. Give it a couple of hours and we know where she is."

"He's right." Scott comments. "Let's send a couple of people to scout her. Then they go back and we all bring her back here. We just have to be a little bit more patient, and it will be all over."

"Scott is right." Y/N smiles hopefully. "Soon enough, we don't have to worry about the Phoenix."

"Then I'm going." Logan offers. "Anybody else is free to join me."

"I join as well." Ororo offers as well.

"Me too." Steve says.

"Then we have a search team." Logan looks at the squad. "I see no reason why we're waiting. Let's go."

The group disbands from the meeting room and to the Blackbird back in the city. Logan, Ororo and Caliban step in the jet. The rest of the team looks at the jet, seeing them leave. Before leaving, Steve wants to speak to Bucky.

"Are you doing better?"

"A little, yes." Bucky responds.

"You should be checked up by Hank. He's a doctor."

Bucky looks at the man he's talking about. "If you say so." He already been told by Steve about mutants, the current world and their situation. Even still, he founds it unusual about the whole ordeal.

"No need to worry. They're kind."

"I never said they weren't." Bucky replies with a smirk.

"Stevie!" Steve looks behind him to see Logan standing by the entrance of the jet. "You're going to continue talking to your boyfriend or what?"

"I'm going." Steve responds back. Before running to the jet, he looks back at Bucky. "Take care. We talk later." Bucky gives him goodbye. Then, Steve runs to the jet and soon enough they fly away, in search for the answer.
