Ch 59. The Kingdom Of Genosha

The telepath opens his eyes to see Piotr sitting on the ground with his eyes close. Y/N guesses he stayed by his side when he got some sleep. He sits up on the medical bed that the X-Men uses for usually emergencies. He's in the middle of the room. His eyes lay on the window to see the morning sky. With a morning yawn, Y/N stands up and get to the cockpit, seeing most of the group asleep, with the exception for Rogue and Bobby, who is flying.

Y/N walks towards them and grabs Bobby's chair for support. "Morning."

Both of them look for a second back with a smile. "Morning to you too." Rogue responds.

"Good morning." Rogue is the first one to look back, while Bobby's attention remains longer on Y/N. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm good." Y/N says with a genuine smile. "I'm happy to see you all again."

"I'm happy to see you too." Bobby replies back with the same kind of smile. "We missed you, a lot."

"Luckily you're back." Rogue adds.

Y/N hums. Bobby returns his attention back at the steering wheel. "To think you two would fly the Blackbird. I can tell you've grown much."

"We're no longer a bunch of 16-year-old misfits, Y/N." Bobby says with a chuckle.

Y/N hums. "I see. Anyway, is there anything I missed yesterday? Are we going back home?"

"Home?" Bobby quickly looks back at Rogue, who's feeling the same discomfort feeling to even think telling Y/N the situation. However, Bobby can tell she doesn't have the courage to answer, so instead he will say it. He puts the plane on autopilot to give Y/N his full support. "We can't go home, Y/N..." Y/N hearts stop beating. "Charles ordered us to come to safe you. Because of this, SHIELD knows the X-Men are working with you and the group are officially disbanded."

"So, my father is back home...?"

"Yes... When you were gone, the institute became a school. For the students, the professor stayed behind. It's likely SHIELD arrested him." Y/N stays quiet. His new excitement to see everyone now changes into anxiety. "He's going to be okay, but I understand that won't help you..."

There are a couple seconds of silence while Y/N is processing the information. "Then where are we going...?"

Bobby can tell Y/N is changing the conversation forcefully. "Scott knew a place where we can stay. It's called Genosha. Magneto founded it..."

"Uncle Erik..." Y/N mutters. "We're going to see him?"

"Likely. We already send a message to land, which they accepted." Rogue shares. "We will be there within 30 minutes."

"So, where exactly is... Genosha?" Y/N almost forgot how the country is called.

"It's above Madagascar and next to the continent of Africa." Rogue answers.

Y/N hums. Suddenly, his stomach is making noises, which Bobby picked up. "There is food in the other room. Take care of yourself before we arrive, alright?"

"Sure."

Soon enough, everybody wakes up. After talking to each other, eating breakfast and preparing themselves for the day, soon enough they arrived at the country of Genosha. Scott remembered it different. For instance, there is a lot less of metal being used as building material. The castle, that he remembered as a big fortress is now a lot less tall and wide, but it still is large compared to the buildings. The rest of the buildings are currently under construction, but it looks like the building speed is quiet fast. With the help of different mutants, they use their abilities to build a house faster than a regular human can.
