Ch 49. The Next Course Of Action

The telepath opens his eyes, as everybody else wider their eyes as seeing Y/N back. As he removes the headset of his head, Y/N stands up and as he is about to say something, he got interrupted.

"And?"

"Did you find anything?"

"How was it?"

"They..." Y/N let out a deep breath. "They suspect me..."

"What!?" Almost everybody blurts out.

Charles notices Y/N uncomfortable body manner. "Let's go somewhere else. You tell us what happened, one thing at the time."

Back at the meeting room, everybody surround Y/N, wondering what he discovered.

"When I got into his body, his colleague came and fetch me. Her name is Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow."

"Quiet a nickname." Logan comments. "What is she? A superhero or sumethin'?"

Y/N can't help to wonder how Logan could make such uneducated guess. "The meeting is about the Avenger Initiative. Fury was leading the meeting. At the meeting, it was me... well, Clint, Natasha, and other people as well." Y/N looks back at his father, who's sitting just beside him. "You know about Bruce Banner?"

Charles opens his eyes. "He was there too...?"

"Who's that?" Gambit asks.

"He's a gamma scientist that tried to recreate the super-hero serum. The same serum that was used on Captain America." Charles explains. "From what I know, there was an accident that changed his live. He got another entity living inside him that comes out when he's angry. SHIELD was chasing him down for months and only found him recently."

"Beside him, Steve was there too." Y/N adds.

Logan looks shocked. "Rogers?"

"Captain America? The guy you dressed up as during Halloween?" Piotr asks.

"Yeah..." Y/N answers. "Beside him, there was also some rich guy called... Tony Stark?" He can see he remembers correctly just by looking at his father's face.

"The merchant of death..." Charles mutters. Everybody looks at him, wanting to know more. "He's the CEO of Stark industries. He's producing countless weapons that is sold all over to the world."

"Beside him... there is someone else..." Y/N still can't believe 'this' person exists at all. "His name is Thor..."

"Thor? He's named after the god of thunder god?" Ororo questions.

Y/N merely frowns. "More like he IS the god of thunder."

"He what!?" Logan scoffs. "There are no such things as gods! Hell, he's from Norse mythology! He's fictional!"

"I know, I know!" Y/N feels the very same as Logan. "Yet, according to Clint, this is as much of a fact like that people breath air." He let out a sigh. "Apparently, there was a incident four years ago, where Thor came to earth for some reason and for whatever reason he's willing to help SHIELD."

"I wasn't told this." Charles sighs. "Usually, SHIELD is more willing to share such information to me."

"Uhm..." Now to share the big news, beside what he got via Clint's PC. "So, here's the thing about the meeting. SHIELD is making X-Men 2.0."
