Chapter 153

(Jade's P.O.V)
The drive back to Joe's house seemed to be quick. Joe and I talked about anything we could think of. It was really nice. When we got back to his house we walked inside and waited for everybody else since they were about 20 minutes away since they stopped to get gas.
"Want a tour of the house?" Joe asked.
"Sure. Your house seems lovely." I said.
Joe and I got up and he showed me around. The kitchen was nice as well as the rest of the house. He showed me the basement, Caspar's room, the bathroom, everything. The last thing was his room.
"My room is sort of a mess so my apologies in advance for that." Joe said.
He opened the door to his room and we walked in.
"It's really nice Joe." I said.
"Lay on the bed. It's so comfortable." I did as Joe said.
"Oh my gosh this is so comfortable." I said.
Joe flopped down next to me.
"This is best thing about my whole room." Joe said.
"I see why. It's like laying on a cloud." I said.
A few minutes passed that were silent but Joe soon spoke up.
"Hey Jade. Are you ticklish?" Joe asked.
"Yeah why?" I said.
Joe got an evil smirk on his face and I realized what I had just done.
"Oh no." I said and dove off the bed.
I ran out of Joe's room and down the stairs. Joe was so fast. I ran around to the back of the couch and Joe ran to the front. I was trapped.
"It's no use Jade. Just give up." Joe laughed.
"Never!" I yelled.
I went to run around the right side of the couch and Joe follows but then I jumped onto the couch and caught him off guard. I ran back up to Joe's room and shut the door and locked it. Joe pounded on the door and I laughed.
"Ha! Try me now Joe." I said.
"Don't worry. I will." Joe said.
I heard footsteps and I knew I won. I sat down on Joe's bed and laughed. A few minutes went by and no sign of Joe. I think it's safe to come out now. I walked over to the door and quietly opened it just in case. I slowly opened it and crept out the door. Ha. I win.
As I thought that thought, I was lifted up over Joe's shoulder. He carried me back into his room and threw me on the bed. (Not roughly.)
"Thought you won?" Joe asked with a smirk.
Joe began tickling me and I squirmed. This reminds me of talk the tickle fights Taylor and I have but I need to forget about that for now.
"S-stop!" I laughed.
"Say Joe is the bestest man alive!" Joe said.
"J-Joe is the bes-test man a-live!" I laughed and Joe stopped tickling me.
"Thanks. I know I am." Joe smiled.
Joe stayed on top of me and stared into my eyes. I never really noticed how pretty his eyes were until now. Joe slowly leaned in and so did I.
"We're here!" Caspar yelled.
"Shit." Joe said under his breath and got off of me.
He held out his hand and pulled me up. I fixed my hair and we walked downstairs.
"I was just showing her around the house since she hasn't seen the whole house yet." Joe said.
Everyone went down to the other living room to chill and watch tv. Taylor glared at Joe as Joe walked.
"I'll be down in a little bit. I need to talk to Taylor." I whispered to Zoey in her ear.
"Okay. Be careful. I'll tell Joe." Zoey gave me a sympathetic smile and hugged me.
Taylor began to walk slowly behind everyone and I grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
"What the hell are you doing Taylor?" I asked.
"I'm not doing anything." Taylor stubbornly said.
"Oh really? You call glaring at Joe and getting all pissed off whenever he comes near me nothing?" I angrily said.
"You're the one fooling with him." Taylor said.
"Oh my god Taylor! Am I not aloud to have guy friends now? You always get pissed off whenever I'm around a guy. Sometimes you show it and sometimes you don't. I'm sick of it!" I yelled.
"Before we came here you were loving me and talking to me and now you're not doing anything but messing with him!" Taylor yelled.
"Now you know how it fucking feels Taylor. You've done this to me many times and you broke my heart more and more each time. I stayed up many nights just bawling my eyes out over you. You can't come running back to the same person who broke you expecting them to heal you. I come back to you because I love you but I'm sick of being hurt." I said.
"You're not the only one with a broken heart. You're so conceited sometimes you know. You've hurt me too but you act like you don't. I love you too but you're really pissing me off Jade. This trip was suppose to be fun and you ignoring me and going to another guy isn't fun." Taylor angrily said.
"Well maybe if you weren't so jealous all the time this wouldn't be happening." I crossed my arms.
"I'm not jealous!" Taylor yelled.
"Yes you are! Whenever I go near a guy you freak!" I yelled.
"Because you're mine!" Taylor yelled back.
"I am not yours Taylor. You never asked me. We're basically friends with benefits and it's really upsetting how you don't want me. You won't ask me to be your girlfriend but you'll go and make out with me and take it farther and I hate it. I want to be your girlfriend but I'm done trying. Go do whatever Taylor." I said, tears forming in my eyes.
Taylor's face softened and he and stopped tensing up.
"Jade, I'm sor-" I put my hand up and cut Taylor off.
"Save it. I'm exhausted tonight. Just go downstairs with everybody else and tell them that everything is perfectly fine." I said.
Taylor's head hung low as he walked downstairs. I walked out to the backyard and laid in the grass. The stars were out now. I remember always laying under the stars with Taylor. Its all memories. Taylor and I will probably be fine in a few days or weeks because we normally always are. I need to call Kian.
It's 6 pm here and the UK is 5 hours ahead so it's 11 in Cali right now. I dialed Kian's number and he picked up after two rings.
"Hey Jay. How's it going? Are you having fun?" Kian asked.
"Kian." My voice cracked.
"Jade, what's going on. What happened." Kian asked with concern.
I told Kian what had happened today. From Joe and I getting lunch together to what just happened with Taylor and I.
"Jade, I'm so sorry about Taylor. You know how he is. When he's mad he's says things he doesn't mean. You should just try to make this trip as fun as possible. Just keep doing what you're doing okay? Call me when you need someone." Kian said.
"I will bean. Thank you." I said.
"Now, go have fun okay? I love you." Kian said.
"I love you too. Bye." I ended the call.
I put my phone in my pocket and got up off the ground and walked back inside. Everyone was back upstairs and they were all laughing and having fun.
"Hey Jade. Was that Kian?" Alfie asked.
"Yeah. He just called to say goodnight since he's going to sleep. We talked for a little bit though." I smiled and tried to sound as normal as possible.

Hours later we decided to go back. It was now 11:23 pm and we have a 30-40 minute drive back to Zoey and Alfie's place. We said our goodbyes to everyone and hugged them. I hugged Joe last though.
"See you tomorrow Jade. Sleep well." Joe kissed my cheek and hugged me tightly.
"You too Joe. Goodbye." I said.
We pulled away and then Zoey, Alfie, and Taylor and I walked out to Zoey's car.
We got in and Zoey drove off. I sat as far away from Taylor as possible. I didn't sleep during the ride though. I couldn't for some reason. When we got back to the house I pulled Zoey aside to talk to her.
"Is it okay if I sleep on the couch tonight? Taylor and I got into and argument earlier and I don't want to even be in the same bed as him." I said.
"Of course! I understand completely. I'll sleep down here with you so you're not alone." Zoey smiled.
"Thanks Zoe my ours the best." I said.
"I'm sleeping down here with Zoey tonight. Goodnight gorgeous." Zoey stood on her toes and kissed Alfie.
"Goodnight little one." Alfie said.
Alfie disappeared upstairs. Taylor came over to me and whispered to me.
"I'm sorry Jade. Please come to bed." Taylor said.
"No. We'll talk about it tomorrow morning maybe. Night." I said and Taylor's face dropped even more.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too Taylor but that doesn't excuse what all you said to me earlier. Now, goodnight." I said and Taylor walked upstairs.
"Alright. Let's get some sleep." Zoey said.
She laid on the other end of the couch since it was pretty big.
"Goodnight Jade." Zoey said.
"Goodnight Zoe." I replied.
Zoey shut off the light and went to sleep. I couldn't go to sleep that easily. My phone vibrated with a message from Joe.
Joe: Goodnight Jade. Sleep well and I'm sorry about how Taylor is acting.
Jade: Goodnight Joe. Sleep well too and it's fine. This happens all the time.
Joe: He just needs to cool down. Goodnight Jade.
Jade: Goodnight.
I clicked my phone off and closed my eyes. I'm so exhausted from today. When will it end?

I woke up and stretched my arms. I couldn't sleep last night. I kept tossing and rolling around. I got up a few times to get a drink of water and I ended up standing on the back porch outside in the backyard. A few minutes later I went back inside and tried to sleep though. It was frustrating that I couldn't sleep.
Everybody was up now and we're just sitting on the couch.
"Anybody want breakfast?" Zoey asked.
The two boys said yes and I nodded.
"What will you cook?" I asked.
"Eggs, pancakes, and sausage." Zoey said.
"I'll just have a little bit of eggs. Mind if I help you cook?" I asked.
"Not at all. Boys, you stay here and watch something on tv. We'll be cooking." Zoey said.
"Okay mum." Alfie chuckled.
Zoey and I laughed and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. I cooked the eggs and sausage while Zoey cooked the pancakes. It didn't take long or the food to cook and it looked very good when it was done. When we finished we called out the boys and they got their food first. Zoey got our food after them. I just got a little bit of eggs since I wasn't really hungry. We sat down on the couch and are our food.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"8:13 am. We're leaving at 10:30." Alfie said.
"Can I take a shower?" I asked. "Of course." Zoey smiled her sweet smile.
I finished my eggs and then headed up to mine and Taylor's room. I grabbed a pair of black high waisted shorts, a blue muscle tank that said PINK on it written in black, and a black bandeau. I slipped into the shower and took a quick one since I had to dry my hair and put on makeup. After my shower I dried and curled the ends of my hair, then applied some mascara and eyeliner. After I did that I decided to call Matt since I haven't called him yet. He picked up after 3 rings.
"Hey baby girl. Are you having fun?" Matt asked.
"Yeah. For the most part." I said.
"I know. Kian told me what happened. Taylor's just being himself. Have fun with Joe and everybody else as much as you can because you'll be leaving in about a week. You don't want this trip to be ruined." Matt said."
I know. I'm trying to not let it get to me". I sighed.

I've been writing non stop and I stayed up until 12 am to write😂 I made new covers for both books so comment some feedback about them.
