Chapter 168

(Jade's P.O.V)
Sammy and I went downstairs and I walked over to Taylor and pecked his lips, then sat down on a different couch with Sammy. He wrapped his arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder. Sam and Kian looked at me and Sammy, then smiled at each other.
"I'm so happy you've got your best friend back." Sam said.
"I'm glad I've got him back too." I smiled at my brother.
We all began talking about the fun times we've all had together.
"Remember when we stole a shopping cart by giving that guy my fake number and we went into the pool with the cart and we filmed us because the Magcon guys were at tour?" I said.
"Oh my god that was so fun!" Andrea said.
"We loved watching that video of you guys. You looked like you were having lots of fun." Johnson said.
"We were. I got the cart by telling this guy a fake number saying it was mine and he actually let me take the cart." I laughed.
"You little rebel." Sammy said with a smile.
"She learned from the best. Aka me." Kian did a fake hair flip.
Everyone laughed. A few minutes later Acacia started talking about how hungry she was and then Cameron started getting hungry too.
"What do you guys want to eat then?" Carter asked.
"Panera!" I yelled.
"Sounds good to me. Everyone write down what you want and Acacia and I will go get it." Sam said.
Sam grabbed a piece of paper and everyone wrote down what they wanted. Sam and Acacia went off to get the food and everyone began talking to each their but Sammy mad I stayed silent, enjoying each other's presence.
(Taylor's P.O.V)
I remember this Sammy guy but we didn't talk much and he's getting too comfortable with my girlfriend and it's making me feel uneasy. They're all snuggled up over there on the couch and I'm all alone. Yes I realize that she hasn't seen Sammy on over 2 years but still. She's my girl and I really don't want to go back to being all jealous again. I finally have Jade and I don't want to lose her. If they try anything, I will hurt him and I won't be nice about it. I'll snap him like a fucking twig. Nobody messes with my girl and everyone knows that.
(Jade's P.O.V)
Moments later Sam and Acacia came back with the food and everyone grabbed their meals. We all ate while talking amongst ourselves but I didn't really say much. I was too busy enjoying my grilled turkey and cheese panini to care about anything else. It tasted amazing. I love Panera.
"When you're done eating, let's go somewhere." Sammy whispered in my ear and I nodded.
When I finished, Sammy and I stood up.
"We're going to go out for a bit. Be back soon." I said.
I walked over to Taylor who looked like a pouting child to be honest and I leaned down to kiss his lips. He held the kiss for a good 5 seconds before pulling away.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too Tay." I replied with a smile.
Sammy and I walked out the door and we walked in silence. It's now 8:30 pm so the sun is setting and it looked beautiful.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"The beach." Sammy smiled.
We walked to the beach and sat down on a bench. Sam wrapped his arm around me and I scooted close to him and laid my head on his shoulder.
"Just like old times huh little one?" Sammy said and I smiled.
"Just like old times." I said.
Sammy and I used to come to the beach a lot and we'd be here for hours. We just wanted to escape from reality and people for a bit so we'd come to the beach. It's like our own little Neverland. We didn't have to worry about anyone nagging us or what people thought of us. Sammy and I used to be really self conscious and he grew out of it but I didn't. I've missed this.
"Can we still call the beach Neverland?" I asked.
"Of course we can. It's been known as that since we started coming here back in the 6th grade." Sammy smiled.
I love his smile so much. It just makes me feel better because he's smiling meaning he's happy.
"Why thank you." Sam said.
"Did I say that it loud?" I gasped.
"You sure did." Sammy smiled and I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Oh god." I covered my face and Sam chuckled.
"Don't worry, I love your smile too." Sammy said.
"I can't believe you dyed your hair." I began playing with Sam's hair.
"I decided to try something new. Does it at least look good? My hair is growing so my natural hair is showing." Sammy said.
"I like it. I think it's a good look." I smiled and so did Sam.
A few minutes of silence passed and Sam sighed.
"What's wrong?" I pulled away from Sam and asked.
"Nothing." Sam replied.
"Sam, I can tell when there's something wrong. We've been friends since the 3rd grade." I said.
"I'm just worried about you. That's all." Sam said.
"Sam, I'm fine right now. I don't feel as sad when you're around." I smiled lightly.
"Liz, I promise to always keep you safe. I'll be here no matter what and I cannot live without you. You'll never be alone as long as I'm here. Even if I'm 3,000 miles away I'll still be here. Just call me up and I'll be here in a heartbeat. When you fall asleep at night, just remember that we fall asleep under the same stars so in a way we're still connected. I'm not leaving you again." Sammy said.
Damn he's sweet and smooth. I love him to death. He also called me Liz. Elizabeth is my middle name so he sometimes calls me that or Liz or Lizzie for short. He has a few nicknames for me but I have some for him too. I'll call him Samuel sometimes or I'll call him smiles because he always used to smile as a kid. Sammy is the only one who can get away with call me by just my middle name. Taylor calls me Jade Elizabeth but that's different.
I threw my arms around Sammy and squeezed him. Sam wrapped his arm around my waist and laid his head in the crook of my neck.
"I love you so much Samuel. I'll never leave you either. You're so sweet and kind and caring. I don't know what I'd do without you." I said.
"I love you too Liz." Sam said.
Sammy and I stayed in each other's arm for a good 2 minutes before pulled away. Sammy placed his hands on the sides of my head and kissed my forehead. He wrapped his arm around me again and we snuggled up like we did earlier.

A few hours later Sammy and I walked back to the house and I was exhausted. I sat down on the couch and stretched my legs over Sammy and closed my eyes.
"I'm going to stay at the Magcon house tonight babe. Sammy can stay at your place tonight if you want." Taylor said.
"Okay baby." I said.
"Me and Acacia are staying here." Andrea said and I nodded.
"Do you want me to take you back to you place?" Sammy asked and I nodded.
I stood up and hugged everyone goodbye. I pecked Taylor's lips and told him I love him. Sammy and I walked out to my car and he drove to the apartment. When we arrived, we brushed our teeth and I changed into a pair of yoga shorts and Taylor's black shirt he left here. I climbed into bed and Sammy stood in my doorway.
"I'll go sleep on the couch. Goodnight Jay. Sleep well." Sammy said and he began to walk off but I stopped him.
"Will you sing for me?" I asked and he smiled.
He climbed into bed next to me and began singing 18 by One Directionn
"I have loved since we were 18. Long before we both thought that same thing. To be loved and to be in love. And all I can do is say that the arms were made for holding you and I wanna love like you made me feel when we were 18." Sammy sung.
After he sung that he sung Hey There Delilah.
"Hey there Delilah what's in like I'm New York City I'm a thousand miles away but tonight girl you look so pretty, yes you do." Sammy started singing.
I had my back facing Sam so he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. I rested my hand over his and rubbed my thumb over his knuckles. I slowly fell asleep to my best friend singing to me.

I woke up with Sammy laying on top of my with his head buried in the crook of my neck with his arms wrapped around my waist. We always used to cuddle when we were younger because it made us feel better.
"Sammy, wake up." I said kindly.
He groaned and squeezed me tighter.
"Jesus you're like a damn cobra with this grip." I said and Sammy chuckled.
Sammy let go of me and got up. I went to grab my phone off of my nightstand but it wasn't there. Sammy's was though.
"Call my phone real quick." I said and Sam did.
Savior by Black Veil Brides began playing in my room. I looked under my bed since that's where I heard the song coming from. Sure enough, my phone was there.
"Thanks Sam." I said.
"No problem. Do you want to get dressed and go over to the boys and girls?" Sammy asked and I nodded.
I changed into a pair of black shorts a black bandeau with my sky blue muscle tank over it. I slipped on my black vans and Sammy and I walked out to my car and drove to the house.
When we arrived, everyone was there including Taylor. I went over to Taylor and pecked his lips, then sat down. Sammy and I sat on the couch together and listened to everyone's conversations. I'm so glad he's here.
"Did you guys sleep well last night?" Johnson asked me and Sammy.
"Yes we did. I had to wake Sammy up since he wouldn't get up." I said.
"I was tired." Sammy said.
"I could tell." I smiled.
