Chapter 188

(Sammy's P.O.V)
It's currently 4:32 pm and I've already packed me and Jade's bags. I packed some of clothes, some blankets and pillows, and her hygiene stuff like shampoo, conditioner, hair straightener, etc. I know my Jade so I know exactly what she takes when she goes somewhere for a few days. We've been chilling on the couch since she got back with Matt. I think it's time we leave. We have a long drive ahead.
"Get up. We're going somewhere." I said.
"Where are we going?" Jade asked.
I held out my hand and she took it. I pulled her off the couch.
"We're going for a drive. Get in something comfortable. We'll stop and see everyone before we go." I smiled and Jade nodded.
We walked upstairs and Jade put on some yoga shorts, my hoodie, and some vans. She also put her hair up in a bun. I was just wearing some jeans and a white t shirt with my shoes.
"I'm going to take off my makeup and then we can go."
Jade said as she began walking to the bathroom.
While she was taking off her makeup, I leaned on the bathroom doorframe and watched her, smiling slightly the whole time. Damn she's gorgeous. I'm so glad I'm here with her right now. She's my everything.
"Okay. I'm done." She smiled at me.
Her smile kills me.
"Alright. Let's get going." I grabbed Jade's hand and we walked downstairs and to her car.
I love driving her car so much. It starts up beautifully and it's awesome.
"Where are we going?" Jade asked.
"It's a surprise." I replied.
I drove to the O2L house and we walked inside. Everyone was on the couches.
"You guys are leaving already? Have fun then." Matt said as he hugged Jade.
"Can someone tell me where I'm going?" Jade asked.
"Nope. It's a surprise." Sam said and Jade groaned.
After we said bye to everyone, we left and I began our drive. This is going to be fun.
Jade plugged her phone into the aux cord and began playing idfc by Blackbear. We used to listen to this all the time. We actually had a playlist of songs that we'd always listen to.
"Remember when we laid on the floor of your room listening to this?" I asked.
"Yes I do. We laid on my floor, listening to our playlist." Jade smiled slightly.
"Do you remember what else happened?" I asked, knowing exactly where this was going. 
"We were in 7th grade so we were 13. We were listening to this song on my floor, talking about where we'd be in 10 years, our fears, our dreams, everything. Our hands touched slightly and we looked up at each other and smiled. You leaned into me and kissed me. That was the first time we ever kissed. After we kissed, we just stared at each other for a bit, then I snuggled against your chest and we both fell asleep." Jade said.
She basically memorized that. She didn't miss anything from that memory.
"Did you memorize that?" I asked and she nodded.
"It's one of my best memories of us." She said.
"It's mine too. I was so scared to kiss you. It took me years to build up that courage." I said.
"Do you still get nervous around me?" Jade asked.
"Yes. If you get nervous around someone even though you've known them for many years, that's true love right there." I said.
"I love you so much." Jade smiled.
"I love you too princess." I replied.
The song ended and Holding On To You by Twenty One Pilots came on and we both instantly smiled. (Look this song up if you haven't heard it nits amazing. TØP is amazing.)
"Is this our playlist from all those years ago?" I asked.
"Why yes it is. I never deleted it. I would listen to it occasionally." Jade said proudly.
This is going to be one fun drive.

45 minutes later and I was still driving. This car ride has been full of music and singing.
"Now can I know where we're going?" Jade asked again.
"Sorry babe, but no." I replied.
"How much longer until we get there then?" Jade looked at me.
"Another hour or two." Jade nodded and pulled out her phone.
She was probably texting one of the boys or something.
(Jade's P.O.V)
I pulled out my phone and began texting Matt.
J- hey Matty.
M- hey baby girl. Having fun on your drive?
J- yes. We've been singing and talking the whole 45 minutes we've been driving. He still won't tell me where we're going.
M- told you, it's a surprise. You'll like it though. Trust me.
J- Now I'm even more curious! Thanks Matt😑
M- you're welcome😂😇
I didn't reply after that since there wasn't much to talk about. Sammy's arm was retina on the center counsel so I grabbed his hand and locked out fingers together. He looked at me and smiled and I kissed his cheek. I've had fun on this drive so far.
**
(Sammy's P.O.V)
We've been driving for an hour and a half now. Only a half hour left until we get there. Jade fell asleep about 45 minutes ago but she's still holding my hand. She's so adorable. If I wasn't driving right now, I'd pull her in my arms and cuddle her. She's going to love where I'm taking her. I planned this 4 days ago with everyone. They all agreed that it'd be a good idea. I came up wit the idea but they just helped me with what I should take and stuff.
"Sammy, isn't this your song?"
Jade brought me out of my thoughts.
I thought she was asleep? Guess she woke up. Aye Ma playing from her phone.
"Yes it is. Did you download this?" I asked.
"When you told me that you sing, I downloaded your songs."
Jade replied.
"You know who this song is about?" I asked her.
"Someone you met in New Jersey?" I shook my head.
"It's about you. I wrote it one day while thinking about you." I said and Jade blushed.
"Sammy, that's the most sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. That beats anything." She said.
"Just wait until we get to where we're going. You'll love it." I said.

We're 5 minutes from our destination. I handed Jade a blind fold and made her put it on.
"It's that big of a surprise." I said.
She put it on and sat there. This car ride was so much fun. Jade asked lots of questions. Things like what I did while back in New Jersey. It was pretty cute and funny since she was like a little kid, asking all these questions and stuff.
I pulled in the driveway and told Jade to stay put. I got out of the car and went over to the passenger side where I got Jade out of the car.
"Okay. Take off the blind fold." I said.
Jade took it off and once she realized where we were, tears ran down her cheeks.
"Sam, I-I love you so much." Jade hugged me and cried.
"I knew you'd love it." I smiled.
"We haven't been here since our freshman year in high school." Jade said.
In case you're wondering where we are, we're at my grandparents beach house. It's a really nice house on the beach. Jade and I used to come her whenever things got tough. One time, she was used by this guy. He even took her virginity and told everyone that she threw herself at him and then everyone bullied her, so we can here for a weekend. We took Friday off of school and stayed here the whole weekend. We had so much fun and it really helped us both. I was going through stuff with my parents so we came here. It was amazing.
"I can't believe we're here. I've missed this place so much."
Jade said.
"I'll get our stuff from the back and we can take it inside." I said.
Jade and I got the stuff from the trunk and brought it inside. We didn't feel like unpacking yet though.
Everything was still turned on in the house. Like the water, electricity, etc. My grandparents live in California but even though they don't use this often, they still keep it around.
Jade and I sat down on the couch and she cuddled against my chest.
"How long are we staying here?" She asked.
"Until you want to go back and see everyone." I replied and she looked up at me, her eyes glossy.
"Thank you so much for taking me here. You're so amazing." Jade said.
"Anything for you babe." I smiled.
I stared into her gorgeous, icy blue eyes and she stared into mine. I brought my hand to her face and stroked my thumb over her cheek.
"I'm so lucky to have you here with me. I'm lucky to have you in general. I can't live without you. I'm never leaving you again. You're my world." I said.
"Sam, you're one of the best things to ever happen to me. You're so perfect." Jade said.
"I love you baby girl." I leaned closer to Jade.
"I love you too babe." Jade said.
She pressed her lips to mine and I instantly got butterflies in my stomach. I get them by just being around her. I love her.
